Works great on my Golden Retriever! He has suffered from ear problems since he was a puppy. After 1,000s of dollars and multiple antibiotics. It would ALWAYS return! I started looking for better and more affordable treatments. No luck. Then I found this!!! It worked!!! I am so grateful! Has saved my family 1,000s of dollars in vet bills and has relieved my dogs suffering. I want to add that I add some to his ear canal once, only when the redness and itching start and the next day it looks 90% better. Haven't noticed any side effects and it doesn't hurt him. Almost like its instant relief. Hope it works for your dog too!

Definitely 5 stars because it worked exactly as advertised. My dog was dealing with red, itchy ears, and this formula cleared up the irritation completely without the need for an expensive vet visit. It was very easy to use, especially since it doesn't require pre-cleaning the ears beforehand, which made the process much easier on my dog. Within a few days, the redness was gone and she stopped scratching. It’s a reliable, effective product that saved us a lot of time and money, and I’ll definitely be keeping it on hand for any future ear issues.

My pups ear was red and had some gunk in it. Took them to the vet for a routine visit and was told they had left and right ear infections. They also charged us for a prescription ear drops that had to be put in twice a day. The prescription only made my pups ear much worse. I used this product as soon as it was delivered in the morning. My pups was showing signs of relief within 20 minutes and the redness was completely gone before end of day. Thanks for making an affordable product that actually works. I'm recommending ZYMOX to everyone with a dog or cat, even the vet office. Does not smell and it's very easy to apply. If your pet has gunk build up, it will slide out so have soft clean cloth or tissue.

This is the only thing that works for my dogs ear. We had our dog to the vet and nothing seemed to work. It took several days and then the ear healed up. Great product truly worked for our dog.

I was really impressed with how quickly this ear solution worked. It cleared up my pet’s ear infection and stopped the constant itching faster than anything I’ve tried before. Honestly, it worked better than some of the treatments I’ve gotten from the vet and it definitely saved me some money. I also love that you don’t have to pre-clean the ears first. It does the job on its own and even gets rid of that unpleasant odor that can linger with ear issues. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because I wish the bottle were a bit bigger, but overall it’s a great product that delivers on its promises.

Resolved completely, I hope the issue doesn't return but so far so good!!! It's been a week and his ears still look clean. I want to start by saying I didn't know what was wrong with my babies ears. I have a 6 month old kitten I adopted that had very dark waxy and dirty ears. I suspected yeast or mites. I treated for 8 days although the issue looked fully resolved on day 6. Afterwards I cleaned his ears one last time with Veterinary formula ear cleaner also sold on Amazon. He was not scratching his ears excessively but I checked his ears anyway and noticed how dirty they were and I'm shocked he wasn't scratching because they were filthy and so waxy and wet/ yeasty looking. Cats have clean ears naturally so I knew it wasn't normal. The kitten was tolerating treatment surprisingly well especially for the Zymox plus because it's a little thicker. The ear cleaner I used once after completing the Zymox he didn't like near as much but it's quite runny. His ears are really clean. In case there's an issue with mites, I plan on using on and off for a month with skipping a week between each treatment since eggs can hatch after a week or two. The vet said this would be safe to use for a month but if the issue returns I'll take my kitten to the vet. So far so good. I can't believe the amount of wax expelled from his ears.. I would purchase again.

My cat had awful ear infections caused by ear mites. I spent a lot of money at the vet for prescribed treatment for it not to work. AI directed me to this stuff as a remedy. Within a week his ear infection was almost gone and his ears looked remarkably better. The crud that built up from the ear mites was gone and the scratches were nearly healed. He’s at the end of the second week and he is a new kitty. He’s active and energetic like he used to be. This stuff is amazing and did what we needed. I let AI know that its recommendation worked so if anyone else asks that it will lead them to this product as well. And like others have said, this stuff has definitely saved us money by not having to go to the vet. They’re absurdly expensive now and this was the solution we needed at a price we could afford. My beloved chocolate lab Max has had stubborn recurring ear infections for a couple of years now. I tried everything i could find. Six days ago, I started him on Zymox and today his ear is completely cleared up. I followed the suggested schedule of one application daily, and will continue it for the entire two weeks even though it seems fine. I am thrilled with the results and intend to apply it weekly after this course of treatment for the rest of Max's life. It's pricey, but nothing compared to what I've spent on vet bills. Max the Wonder Dog is his old funny, care-free self again! No head shaking, no ear scratching, no whining. Yay!

great product , seems to be working fine

Had tried numerous different ways & products to rectify my cat’s yeasty ears which was giving her great irritation. Came across Zymox as a suggestion, applied once a day for 7 days- Problem solved immediately after one weeks use.! Even now a few weeks later she is irritation free and her ears are clear of black debris. Highly recommended.

By far the best product of I have come across for my GSD with recurrent ear infections. Her ears clear up in days, saved so many trips to the vet with our anxious girl. I can’t recommend this product highly enough!

This was a very effective ear cleaner, but it made my dog's pinneas (ear flaps) very dry and scaly after just two applications. May be a little too strong for dogs with sensitive ears or skin. EDIT: After realising that all Zymox product reviews are lumped together on their product range, clarifying that this review is for the 1% hydrocortisone product. Sensitive dogs may do better with the 0.5% hydrocortisone or hydrocortisone-free products.
