A good purchase!
Works well, happy so far. Used it to test out some panels. This will have no steady use so if made well enough should last a long time for me.

Great unit. Easy-to-use
Nice unit. Built for one purpose and does it well. My battery tester has a solar test function, but cannot test over 100 watts. The banana plug makes adding adapters easy.

WS400A Photovoltaic Panel Multimeter
Thank you. received the device. It was put to test immediately and I could read my PV system's general output condition. There was an issue with my PV System and I corrected it, immediately. hard to read display
it worked good but the readout is not very good at all--if you are testing it out in the sun it is barely readable--- a bad design. needs to be a led read out, especially for the money you pay for it. so since it is barely readable i cant give it but a one star even if it does work good.

tested all my solar panels so easily wish they had one for more than 400 watts

Good multimeter
This is a very useful device.

Amperage is low, Screen brightness is horrible in sun
So I had some hopes that it would be decent, but there are a number of things that I don’t like Display is dim for reading in direct sun Amperage displayed was off by over a amp Voltage was off compared to fluke meter Reading is momentary, it doesn’t hold amp load to make sure the panel is fine, it’s just a slip sec blip of load. Just seems like the readings are not accurate enough compared to a proper fluke meter comparison.

Unit died 1 month 4 days after purchase
I am extremely upset about this meter. I have only started using it 1 day ago as my panels just arrived. After yesterday and today until 3 minutes ago, it was great - showing output voltages of used panels. I still have 23 panels to go and she just died. No manufacturer should allow this sort of thing to stand. I went to Amazon to set up a return and replace only to find out that the return window closed 4 days ago. I am hoping the manufacturer reaches out to me to do the right thing here. I will await your decision. Thank you.
