I recommend everyone with pets that have a double or thick coat, to own and utilize this wonderful dematting tool! Your pets will look and feel so much better. This will eliminate any nasty stickers and or cheat grass, from imbedding into the precious skin of your animal. You'll be their best friend for helping them out of much irritation, pain and suffering that have a matted coat can cause! I wish I knew about this tool or I would have been using it for twenty years of owning giant dogs. I've always kept my animals brushed well, but just used regular dog brushes, dog combs, dog rakes and furminater types of tools. Nobody ever told me about this tool that is the most effective and fast way to get to that sometimes stubborn undercoat. I just happened to see this on Amazon and thought I'd try it. I couldn't be more pleased. It works like 80 percent better than any of my other tools. Just be gentle with your pets when using this, because it is much sharper and grips the Matted fur very tight, so it will tug your pets skin quite fiercely! Hence, be mindful, careful, patient and compassionate about how you go about using this on your animal friends. Be respectful of how their feeling and pay close attention to their body language. Stay in tune and checked in with them at all times during your grooming session. If you can't guarantee doing that and also keeping this tool out of reach of incompetent, irresponsible or uncompassionate people, then DONT buy this tool, please! However, you could recommend it to a responsible person to groom your pet for you. It will save everyone involved alot of time, if used correctly, correctly meaning with cognitive compassion for the best interests of the animal. Enjoy! 😇🤗🥰😍💜💯✌️🫶🙌👍

First things first, this brush works really great to thin out unruly mane and really get rid of excess fur. It's particularly great for when a dog is going to blow its coat or just making life a little less miserable in 100° weather. That being said, I would highly recommend using a normal brush first to smooth out the fur so that this brush catches less on tangles. My dog doesn't really let me brush him with this brush because it keeps getting caught in his lion's mane (he's a Great Pyrenees) until I smooth it out with a normal brush beforehand (pro tip, use a wet brush for humans. It works surprisingly well). Also using dog conditioner helps this brush work better since it gets caught on fur less. Overall the brush is easy to use and easy to clean and I like how soft it leaves the fur afterwards. It's a pretty big brush so I don't think it would work that well on cats unless you have a large cat or a cat with long fur. That all being said, I would recommend this brush.

I have two indoor cats. One, named Dream, is a fat tabby that has seizures and terrible fur. He's a very sweet and personable cat, but he does not like laying in your lap. And he definitely didn't like being groomed (until now). His fur was so bad that you couldn't pet him without having fur flying everywhere. Plus, the saliva from his seizures would get in his fur and create mats. One mat got so bad, I ended up having to cut off a large chunk of his fur. I was looking for something that would help me with his mats when I decided to give this a try. I saw all the customer photos with piles of fur, but it was still hard to believe how well this tool works until I tried it myself. And, wow, it really does work that well! PROS: • It does not hurt! • This is the only grooming tool Dream will let me use. • It works incredibly well and very fast. • Very easy to clean the fur off while using it. CONS: • Cats can do the slinky motion to make it hard to get any fur, but some petting stops that. • Use it gently so you don't pull too much fur all at once. • I didn't buy it sooner. Seriously, this is a life saver for Dream's fur. He has even allowed me to put him on my lap to groom him. He thinks of the process as loving with me petting him. I don't even get treats out anymore. They're not needed. He actually enjoys being groomed! I added photos of my first grooming session with Dream. He wasn't very cooperative the first time, but I still got a lot of the undercoat on his back cleaned out. I still get that much from him every time, maybe even more. I'm slowly working to get Dream to allow me to groom his rump and belly, but that will come with time. For now, it's just wonderful to be able to pet him without having fur flying everywhere and to stop any mats that try to form. I cannot recommend this tool highly enough. It is by far the best grooming tool you can get. And, yes, those piles of fur are real from just one grooming session.

This brush is a must for any pet owner with excessive shedding problems . My Husky sheds year round and is miserable in the Alabama summer but now that I have this brush to remove that undercoat and reduce the thickness of his fur he is much more comfortable and im happy im not vacuuming every single day because of my floor being scattered with husky hair. Great product . Works well and he loves it.

Bought this and was hoping it would work like I’ve seen others do because we have a Rottweiler and Bull mastiff female and she sheds so bad. I used this on her both sides and it works perfectly on her fur I was super impressed with it and I love it. Good value for the price, cute design, nice sized to fit good in your hand and I love the color. Also easy to clean fur out, if I’m outside I can blow most of it out. Thank in for a wonderful product that does the job well.

I have been looking for a brush that would comb the hair out of the dogs coat. This is the greatest thing. It really works. I love it. I ntudh my dog and I can pet her now without all the hair falling off of her. Coat is smooth. Love this

One of my cats has long hair and hates being brushed, so has often gotten matted and has needed to he taken to the vet for sedation and shaving, which isn't great for his health, my bank or nice for him if it's getting colder. Regular brushes just pulled at his fur and he would bite and scratch to get away and nothing helped. I bought this thinking I probably won't have any more luck with it, but am actually so pleased. It cuts through the knots and pulls out all the excess fur with ease and minimal pulling. Even though he still doesn't enjoy being brushed with it, I can get more strokes in before he tries to leave and it's actually working rather than just brushing the fur on top and doing nothing to the knots underneath. If you have a pet who gets knots then definitely get this!
