Asterwood Vitamin C Face Serum - with Hyaluronic Acid - Smoothing, Hydrating, Stimulates Collagen Production - Fragrance-Free - 1 Fl Oz

I have had this for about 72 hours and love it. I've used this basically solo for the two of the days that I didn't wear makeup at all (working from home and gave my skin a break lol!) and it feels super light but still very softening on the skin. I've been using a little in the morning but I'll probably mostly use this at night. I cleanse, do a light daily exfoliant and apply while my face is generally still damp. It absorbs/ dries quickly which is always nice. When I remove my makeup at night I do pretty much the same thing. Remove makeup with coconut oil, cleanse, serum. A little does go a long way, however if I find that I have too much I just spread it over my neck and chest - surprisingly this is easy to do because the product is lightweight/ watery (like *watery* in the best way possible) enough to spread around. Not drippy by any means and your skin feels sooo good after using. I was initially impressed by the great reviews I've seen on this product and am so not glad I went ahead and bought it. Mine came with two pumps, too! Because it's 8oz I probably won't have to replace for a few months and for the value especially it's awesome. I'd definitely buy again and am looking forward to trying out their other products!

The price is fantastic, the pH (slightly acid, 4ish) means it'll be effectively absorbed into your skin, and you get a whopping 8 oz.! Most Vit. C serums are 1 oz. for $20. I've actually never felt a Vit. C/hyaluronic acid serum absorb so well into my skin. It absolutely does not leave a filmy finish afterwards, and it's quite unique in that it feels like it completely "evaporates" by the time you finish massaging it into your skin (although I'm sure it's just being absorbed very well, hence the "did it... evaporate...?" feeling). There is truly nothing left on the surface of your skin after it is absorbed, and it leaves your skin feeling very well-hydrated. As for results, it has definitely faded my dark spots. I haven't looked too much into the research behind this, but apparently Vit. C is great for wound-healing as well. It might just be me, but when I use this on my face after I've picked at my acne (which I DON'T recommend doing unless you use a sanitized acne tool kit, gloves, etc.), I do think that my popped pimples heal faster and the dark spots fade much quicker. I can't really say how well this product works for wrinkles as I'm in my early 20's and don't have any yet. I really, HIGHLY recommend this product if you want something that will hydrate your skin without leaving a film behind, and also fade your dark spots. :)

Overall, I like this product. Pros-- *Large quantity for good price. *Quickly shipped by seller and came with an extra pump. A nice touch. *If contents are as labeled: Product of USA, natural ingredients and cruelty free. *After only 1.5 weeks with twice daily applications, already seeing lightening of my dark spots and more even skin tone. *If you're looking for wrinkle reduction, I've not noticed that. *I have very sensitive skin and have not had any rashes, breakouts or other adverse reactions. Cons- *Definitely a much thinner product than any of the four serums I have tried. One pump and it runs off of my hand and a lot is wasted. Very disappointed in this. If it had a dropper, at least it would be easier to control. I would consider a smaller bottle. *Plastic bottle. Prefer a glass container. Someone answered that this is glass, the seller correctly stated it is plastic. I appreciate their clarification.

Every so often one finds a product that is useful, comfortable and a great value. Vitamin C Serum by Asterwood Naturals qualifies. For those of us who are convinced of the healing properties of vitamin c, this external use formula for the face and neck works well to soothe skin and to keep it smooth and supple. It also works on wrinkles and age spots (I'm 77 and qualify to speak about such things) and keeps you looking younger. And it is much cheaper than other products of similar quality, which alone makes it worth trying! I should also mention that it helps greatly to control seborrheic dermatitis, used twice a day. The company that produces it is small and emphasizes customer service.

Great for reducing wrinkles and making skin healthy

Disappointed it did not come in a glass container like the smaller amount does. Seems to be thin and not like the original consistency in the smaller bottles.
