I had bought something similar for 1 of my sons and my younger one really wanted one. I found this one to fit the bill. It has many features that he can't seem to stop playing with...sciccor, ruler, pen, eraser trays with the touch of a button as well as a place to put a few small things. Made of plastic on the inside and cushioned exterior.

I've wanted one of these when I was child. Now I got one for my son and he was so happy. Vicariously living through him. LOL

This broke so fast after buying it. The compartments are so small that hardly anything fits in them and the scissors it came with broke the first day and we can’t fit any other style scissor into the mat compartment now. It’s just sitting there looking at me now without my child wanting to use it because he can’t actually use it for his small amount of pre-k supplies. The glue doesn’t fit, the scissors don’t fit, his pencils don’t fit. But it’s pretty and sturdy and he likes pressing the buttons. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Pros: buttons are labled. There are little compartments for erasers. It's cute. It's does hold pencils and the pencil sharpener works. It has a little ruler. The box itself seems sturdy enough.Cons: included scissors and tape cutter are useless. No room for anything other than pencils and the items it came with.Overall it's cute and the buttons are fun to push. A regular pencil box from Walmart would be more functional. Don't buy if you're looking for function over aesthetics.
