Good value and strurdy
I used the net to go over the gooseberry bushes to stop the birds. It worked really well and did not get damaged when I took it off. I will be able to use it again next year.

Best value
Good value greasebands, double length. You need to provide your own string. A bit tricky to put around the tree trunks because of the stickiness-had to use a grease solvent to get my hands clean. I found these particular bands more difficult to use than the Agralan ones we had previously because they are less pliable. This would be ok if the tree trunks were nice and even!

Fiddly, times taking material.
Found it really hard to use. And had to tie with string even though so so sticky. Fiddly, time consuming job.

Tree grease bands
Very sticky so tricky to apply if trees well established trunks you may need more than one pack. Definitely catch climbing grubs and insects but also dust and debris so may need replacing too to last three months.

A good way to kill off bumble bees!
Not for me. I wrapped it round my fruit trees that are now in full blossom. Honey bees , bumble bees, you name it, traps the lot! It's a fly paper in a garden around trees and flowers. What could possibly go wrong? Straight in the bin as soon as I saw what it had trapped!
