Very effective as saw lots of gunk floating in the machine. I only needed one tablet. Great knowing Affresh doesn't (hopefully) cause any damage over time. I didn't wish to use vinegar as I value my Maytag washing machine too much. Highly recommend to anyone still deciding.

Cleans washer as expected. I used other brand with Samsung but it never worked like this.

I'm on my sixth box of Affresh, which should tell you how well this works for me. I have a front-loading washer, and these tablets have completely eliminated the mildew smell that front-loaders are notorious for. Each box comes with 5 tablets, and I use one monthly as recommended (or every 30 cycles if you do laundry less frequently). It's such an easy thing to do for maintenance - just toss a tablet in an empty machine and run a cleaning cycle. The washer smells fresh and clean afterward, with no musty or mildew odors lingering. For context, I've been using this consistently for over a year now, and my washer still smells great. It's become part of my regular home maintenance routine, along with changing air filters and cleaning the dryer vent. One note for Hawaii residents: I had issues ordering this with Subscribe & Save (Amazon kept blocking shipment to Hawaii), but I was able to get it shipped by purchasing it as a one-time order instead. Worth the minor inconvenience. Highly recommend, especially if you have a front-loading washer. This is a simple solution that actually works.
