My daughter pre-k offered this so when I seen it I had to get one for home. Recommend if your child is learning how to write their letters.

Perfect for those lil ones who are struggling. It definitely helps them with sensory inputs, seeing, and touching.

I like this item but I do wish the grooves were a little bit deeper. It is also very easy to lose the pencil since it doens't have anything holding it in place. Very durable though and a great way for my kids to practice their letters!

I purchased this for my son since he is struggling with his motor skills. This has helped extremely. He uses this as a guide when writing on a separate piece of paper. It’s smaller then expected but worth it.

My grandson is in preschool learning letters. This was perfect for him. Although his arm went sonic speed few times, trying to practice the a few tough letters, I can see the wood pen will not make it. Which is fine. Looks like a sharpened dowel rod. He loved it tho!! I love how it looks old school, no erase markers needed. No clean up. Simple and building imagination! Even had directions on the letter to move the pen!

I liked capital letters on one side and little letters on the other, along with arrows to guide correct letter formation. Nice stylus and love the deep stylus tray. I was disappointed by the shallowness of the letters themselves, and though the overall compact size is nice for storage and lightweight for travel, the letters are too small for my 3 year old to practice tracing. I was also disappointed by the lower quality wood, along with its rough, lower quality fit and finish detail. Otherwise well packaged, good information, good size perhaps for an older child? I’m now looking for a bigger board.

I bought this tablet as my 3 year old is just starting to learn how to write letters at school. The tablet is wood and very sturdy and I think it's important that the letters are engraved so there are grooves making it easier for them to trace and practice. The board is double sided for lowercase and uppercase letters.

Well made, the pen moves smoothly in the ridges. It is a small size but a good size for little hands. Seems well made and sturdy. I’m happy with the purchase. I purchased this after first buying a magnetic version however the pen movement was awkward and hard to do for my 4 year old. I returned it and purchased this.
