Hardly costs more than a disposable filter, if you clean this it will last for years.

After trying a couple of different cabin filters for my 2014 Charger, I was hoping K&N would release a model that would fit so jumped on this when they did. We have a K&N for our other vehicle which I like, and this one I like even more. The paper filters would get very damp/musty smelling on wet and rainy days, this filter has not had that problem. I don't know if it is because the filter is located where it is, but I haven't experienced this problem in wet conditions with the cabin filters for the two Toyotas that I've owned. Anyway, this was a good fit and has smelled nice since I put it in. It is probably in my head, but this filter seems to give me better air volume as well.

Pros: Better filtering and no more having to buy new ones!! Easy to install instructions and even has a "STOP - DON'T REPLACE" sticker to put near it's location so people don't toss it out just because it's dirty. Better flow than old one Cons: Pricey, but will be worth it in the long run. Dodge charges about $25 for the OEM filters and you can get them around $15 for generics.

When I took the old filter out and compared the two, there was a clear difference in material and manufacturing quality. Truly the best filters out there.

Fit perfect. Wish it stated which way the air should flow...it doesn't. Bothe sides look the same though. Pricey, but in long run you'll save money; but you have to use their cleaner and recharge kit, so it does ad up. I'm on a long dusty ranch road, so I would rather clean and reuse K&N filters than use throwaways!

My Hellcat sucks everything in front of it when the supercharger breaths. Amazed at what I see traped vs standard filter and thus check every thousand miles to swap out with my second filter I keep clean and oiled. Love it. Sounds great with each change out with increased air flow. Easy to clean and re-oil. Fits a 2017 perfect.

Just wanted to let anyone who reads the comment know that it is a very good filter. Its easy to fit and fits perfectly. Go ahead and buy it.... Some points I wanna touch upon from other comments, - It smells weird during the first 2 -3 days: I agree on that part, but the thing to note is that the smell is not of any chemical or anything, it is the smell of a pure hand loom grade cotton since the filter itself is made of cotton material so the smell is to be expected. - it has openings on the sides: Again I agree. the filter groves are bent as it goes to sides. But remember, the construction of the filter itself is made of galvanized steel and steel being STEEL you can slightly bend it to become straight and hence the rubber molding as well straightens with it and hence it seals out the cabin compartment properly. No gaps remaining. :) - It is washable: As the company stated, it is washable. Since it is bidirectional filter, remember or mark the side that you put towards the front/rear and follow the same throughout the lifetime of the product even after washing, changing sides would not be recommended since you would want to keep 2 sides separate on the filter, one clean and other dirty. LOL I hope these points help some future buyers. :) Ciao

Nachdem mein Baby schon einen offenen Mopar LuFi besitzt war es gar keine Frage dass man hier für den Innenraum auch einen K&N nimmt. War total überrascht dass es für den Dodge so etwas gibt. Seit Jahrzehnten fahre ich K&N und bin nur enttäuscht gewesen. Der Einbau hat gut funktioniert obwohl die Klappe nicht ganz einfach zu öffnen ist (wenig Platz und leider etwas scharfkantig). Aber mit etwas Übung war der Filter schnell eingebaut. Bisher merke ich weder üble Gerüche noch den Geruch des eingeölten Filters. Daher alles top. Werde diese Marke auch weiterhin treu bleiben.
