Great product, plain and simple. I just had to replace my stylus and wanted to be extra careful and precise when setting it up. If I didn't have this kit, I would've had no idea that my cartridge wasn't aligned properly, or that my vertical tracking force was off. This is a must have for anyone that is serious about their record player.

Qualty kit.

Nice little set. If it weren't for the case to keep it all together I'd question the value but it's exactly as expected and handy enough, even if it's not something frequently used. I wish they included the mirrored versions of the cartridge alignment tool that they sell separately instead of the white plastic.

This is an important kit which provides all of the tools to accurately install a new turntable cartridge. I love to tinker and do see the value with this comprehensive cartridge kit, especially on expensive gear.

This is an easy-to-use kit that has made a significant improvement in my turntable’s performance. It was well worth the money. My scale came with four batteries, so two spares. It revealed that the vertical tracking force of my Thorens TD-166 mkII I bought used in the 1990’s reads about 250mg too high. I adjusted the counterweight to compensate. The acrylic ruler revealed that azimuth was correct, but vertical tracking angle was not. The VTA is adjusted on this model by adding shims between the Sumiko Blue Point cartridge and tonearm headshell. I added some 3d printed shims (thanks to navydiver at Thingiverse.com) to compensate. The protractor revealed the need to adjust the position of the cartridge within the tonearm headshell. This was accomplished. After all this, there was a significant improvement in sound. This is my third turntable in forty four years, and the one I’ve had the longest (28 years). For the first time since I was introduced to digital sound in 1986, I can understand why some people prefer vinyl. I’m looking forward to rediscovering my vinyl collection.

I’m a beginner regarding the full and proper set up of a turntable (of which I was previously unaware of the importance), I found this kit to be top notch. It has the right equipment for tyros to learn and respect the ideals required to make the best alignment possible without the need to spend hundreds of dollars to make your turntable to be adjusted with a great amount of accuracy. Assuming the stylus scale is accurate, and I don’s see that there is any reason to doubt it is true, it has bumped up my level of proper tone arm accuracy. Inexpensive, but I don’t think it’s any worse for being so. Gotta love that scale!

This kit is great and works well. I am sure there are more expensive kits out there that certain people will say "All the others are garbage you need to spend at least 2000 to get a decent kit" but this kit works perfectly fine. I needed to change the cartridge on my record player, and this helped me make sure it was properly aligned, so I am thankful for that. It was also great to have this kit to help with adjusting my tonearm counterweight. My tonearm is a bit older, and the counterweight appears to be aftermarket so the dial is not that reliable. Overall this kit helped me dial in everything, and adjust what was needed and I could not be happier. For the price paid this was worth it.

Nice quality. Does the job. Nice packaging, nice pouches for the items, and a super handy zipper case to store it all in. Worth the small premium over some of the cheaper options.
