Our older dog who weighs 27 pounds can no longer get on the bed by herself. These steps help tremendously. They are made of dense foam rubber and covered it carpet which makes them soft yet sturdy to go up & down. She has never fallen off of them. They are the perfect height for our bed. Would buy again, but these are made well so I don't think I will need another set.

These are the 4th set of stairs I have purchased from this company. This time I had an issue with the zipper on the cover. I reached out via my review of the product and they promptly responded and replaced the cover to my steps. My pups all weigh between 10-15 lbs and are between 7 and 16 years old. These stairs are perfect, and I have tried the hard wooden based stairs, plastic stairs, ramps, etc. My garage is filled with pet aids that I will be donating to rescues who may have better success with them. These stairs are the only ones that worked in my home. My oldest dog has very limited vision and depth perception so these help her safely get up and down from chairs and the sofa without slipping and falling. Defintiely a 5 star company and product in my opinion.

This item is terrible. It is foam, but shrink wrapped to fit in a small box. I took it out and there are no instructions. I read other reviews that said leave it out for x amount of hours before trying it, putting the slip cover one. I did this but the stairs were so unsteady and lopsided. There was no way my dog could climb on it. Also the back was very uneven. Also returning it was a pain because I had to return it in a box and I had to go to a local warehouse and ask them to give me a box big enough to fit it in. This is a piece of junk please do yourself a favor and avoid.

We have a 10 year old Papillion that underwent back surgery a few months ago. He lost his ability to jump with confidence so we wanted to get him a ramp to be able to get up on the couch or the bed. Since a straight ramp would be too much of an incline we were going to go with stairs. We tried a different type, hard/with carpeted steps, slight downward angle, but he would not go for it. When he did, he would always slip a bit and chose not to use them. These stairs provide a soft, but firm platform for him to use. And the tapered, rather than sharp leading edges seem to make it easier for him to clear the stairs. He has been using them for some time and has figured out the caveats and has no problem using them at all. They are a bit expensive for what you get, but what can you do....pets are family. So, keep a couple of things in mind. The sewing of the cover is nice, but it may move around a bit on the bottom edge of each stair. If we notice it, we tuck the fabric against the bottom of each stair but it will not keep our dog from using it. Probably a bit nit picky, and can remedy with a piece of yarn or string. Also...since this is memory foam, the foam does give a bit when our dog transcends the stairs. What I mean is that when he climbs the stairs, as he pushes off with his back legs the foam will adsorb some of the force as the dog is pushing off. As opposed to hard, firm stairs that provide full resistance. So, our dog had to learn that he had to push a bit harder than usual. Not a big deal, just something that he had to learn, and learned quickly. Liked these so much, that we bought a 3 tier for the couch.

My dog loves this step because she can now get on my bed without help. The major flaw is the cover is too small for the foam steps. I tried six times and the cover simply won’t fit so I am just using the stairs without a cover and I fear this will cause my dog to tear up the stair. Update - the seller contacted me and is sending me a new cover for the steps. Will update this review upon receipt of the new cover. Am impressed with the speed with which the seller responded. Update - the seller sent me a new cover that fits perfectly. My dog loves these stairs. A great company to do business with.

We have two of these. They work for everything from our 8.5 pound dog to our 80 pound dog. Our cats use them as well. We have animals with arthritis, hip displaysia, and a bad back. They all are able to use these steps and easily access my bed and our couch. Also it is light enough that it is easy to move. The cover can be easily removed to be washed. Overall it is a great help for any house with animals. Would highly recommend!

First of all, we have this one and another similar one for another vendor. This one is in the basement and we only sleep there during inclement weather. I mention that because we have has this for a bit over two years. My older dogs and puppy love both but they do have issues with wooden or plastic. However, I do.... last week during a storm, they peed on it and it soaked through to the foam so the cover IS NOT waterproof. This is the first time and I attempted to wash the cover in the machine and the foam by hand. I have been working to get workable again, but the foam still has an odor even though it is dry and the cover is so small that the zipper split. I have spent hours on both the foam cleaning and repairing the zipper to no avail. Again, this cover is NOT waterproof.

It weighs almost nothing, so it does not feel sturdy to my dogs and they won't use it. Quality is good, and zippered/washable cover is a good feature. Price was good for the quality. I'd give it 5 stars if they dogs would use it, but they won't. I think if you added a heavy board in the bottom, it might make it stay put and feel sturdier... instead I'm just still lifting them up and down manually.
