Those little travel size flat irons, curling irons and hair dryers just do not cut it for my long thick and wavy hair. Using those small tools takes me 3 times as long as using my regular tools. While on a tour for three weeks in Italy, this adapter/converter did not disappoint! It handled my regular sized hair tools perfectly. My hair looked good. Plus, it was used for our phones, too. I love that it sits flat on a surface and I only have to connect the plug to an outlet. My travel companions had trouble with their all-in-one adaptors fitting in the sockets or they fit loosely and hung forward. They fell out of the sockets very easily. Also the outlets can be located in difficult to reach places. The cord was such a convenience! So everybody wanted to use mine! It was easy to pack up every morning, as we changed hotels every other day. I'm glad I made this purchase.

So far I have only used this on one overseas trip. Usually I travel alone, but this time my wife joined me. I know from experience that hotels overseas sometimes have only one receptacle in the room, so I played it safe and purchased this device. Perfect. I used it in the Philippines (Luzon). The first hotel (in Manila) needed one of the adapters (Type A [2 prong, also for Japan, USA]) that came with the product. Worked perfectly. The second hotel (Subic Bay area) allowed for me to plug the charging station directly into the wall receptacle. The USB ports are perfect for the iPhone and Kindle because the USB ports regulate the power getting to your device. My iMac Pro plugged nicely into one of the 3-prong receptacles on the charging station (using the power adapter that comes with your iMac Pro). We were able to plug in two computers, two iPhones, and my Kindle all at the same time without any issue. I do wish a carrying case came with the charging station. Using the box is too bulky. One need not travel with all eight adapters. Just take the ones that will work in the countries where you will be traveling.

I just returned from a trip to Ireland, and this travel charging station was perfect! I love all the different size adapters for travel in different countries that come with it for future travel. I only took the one adapter that I needed for this trip to Ireland. The cord was long enough to reach even the most out of the way electrical outlets in different hotels, but not so long as to be cumbersome. The cord has a velcro strap to wind around it when not in use and was compact for packing in my luggage. I love that it had not only USB ports, but regular plugs so that I could use my hair straightener as well as my hair dryer that have dual currency. It is not a converter, but with dual currency hair gadgets, I didn’t need a converter. All phones, tablets, computers etc that use a usb plug did not need a converter either.

Had the product going on 4 years now and it keeps on going. It's been on 4 international trips (Europe, Asia, and Africa) and 1 deployment. It has not let me down yet. It is not a converter, so know the amperage of your electronics before plugging them in. Only down side to this is it doesnt come with a travel case, otherwise this things is pretty awesome. I would definitely buy it again.

I bought this travel charging set for our trip to Ireland. It was perfect. We were able to charge out phones without using the outlet charger. I also used my smaller flat iron, and other electrical items we had brought. We did not try a hair dryer since it pulls so much wattage. This charging station has adapters for most countries. When I travel outside the US, it will be with me. The best thing is it has a longer cord and can be placed with the appropriate adapter into the wall which enables it to sit flat on the surface where you place it. Honestly, I am not sure the cube adapter would have stayed in the wall with our phone adapters attached to it. We were able to charge all of our phones at once with our USB cords. I highly recommend it, you will not be sorry. It was perfect and I think a must have for travel.
