Matfer Bourgeat Leather Protection/Oven Mitts, 8"

Recommend. Pricey but worth the extra cost. Tired of the bargain gloves failing at temperatures at or above 375f.. no problem removing 425f cast iron skillets from the oven and safely transferring to the counter.

These are great heavy duty BBQ mitts. No heat or discomfort comes through. You really do want the 8" version to protect your wrists and arms.

These are not your kitchen gadget aisle at the grocery store mitt. They are Pro grade Very similar to a high quality welding glove . We bake A TON and couldn’t be with out the durability and quality Happy cooking

High quality mitts

I just receive these and tried them twice now and they are great! I have a large hand(male), but not huge (think OJ) and they fit fine. Heavy duty as I needed gloves to handle high heat -475 degrees hot. They come as a pair. I don't know how they would be if wet, but I assume it would be diminished somewhat.
