I have had several surgeries in the past year and anesthesia causes temporary hair loss. At 63 you don't want to have a lot to lose. This was my last hope I was tempted to cut off my waist length hair because I was losing so much. It had not grown much in the past decade but since I used this I am seeing new growth and the texture seems a bit coarser thicker. I am planning to use this at least 6 months to see if it makes a substantial difference over time.
