I purchased this for my home theater thinking it would be awesome. The quality of the screen and all of the materials is great. Everything is great quality and it assembled well. There's one major flaw with the acoustic transparent screen, and it's the holes. If you are sitting any closer than 20 feet to the screen, the holes are very visible and ruin the image. I was very disappointed, so much so, that I actually returned this screen and changed it out for the non acoustic transparent version from elite screens. The non transparent screen is 1000 times better for home theater use. This screen is fine for seating distances over 20 feet, but look for something else if you are sitting closer. Trust me!

This screen delivers the big picture experience in a high quality package. Be aware that there is some hot spotting with this screen and be patient with the installation. But when everything is done right, it looks excellent.

“I bought this screen expecting an impeccable product, and I can’t deny that the screen’s quality is very good—it looks quite professional. However, it arrived with a bent frame and a shadow on the screen material. The seller insisted on sending me parts to fix it, which I didn’t accept. Besides not having paid for a defective product, assembling and disassembling this screen is a delicate, lengthy process that could cause further issues. I also didn’t accept paying an expensive return shipping fee. I understand that with heavy package shipments, damage can happen, but in my experience, other sellers have been more flexible, knowing these things can occur. In this case, that didn’t happen. In the meantime, I’m still waiting on a resolution between Amazon and the third-party seller to see what the next step will be, as I am not going to pay for something I’m not using. I cannot recommend this product or the seller’s service. If you decide to buy it, do so knowing that after-sales service may be complicated.

Build quality is very good and for not for smaller to medium rooms. My media room length is 13 ft. There are perforated holes on the screen and you notice them while watching the movie, especially when the background is white in the movie. Had to switch it to white woven surface screen and this problem went away. This is good concept if your viewing distance is around 15ft or more, but dint workout for me and had to return it. Couple of my friends got perforated grey screens ,but their media room lengths are 25ft and they dint have this problem. You have to walk up close to the screen to notice the holes in their media room

Bottom line, this screen produces amazing picture quality and images from my Vava Ultra Short Throw Laser Projector. Screen size I have is 103 inches. I have no regrets purchasing this product. But keep in mind that assembly is time-consuming and very tedious. Took around 5 hours to fully assemble and hang on the wall. One thing that bothered me was that the manufacturer gave a link to an assembly video, which contradicted the written instructions that came with the screen. For example, the video showed two people rolling out the screen with no gloves, yet two pairs of gloves are enclosed with the screen, as you cannot touch the screen without wearing gloves. The video showed one person attaching the springs from the frame to the screen, by himself, and starting from one end of the screen, whereas the written instructions clearly indicated that you need two people, each starting at the center of the screen, then attaching the springs from the screen to the metal frame. It is most frustrating to be left confused while trying to figure out the correct way to assemble this. We wound up following ONLY the written instructions. Once all the springs were installed, we had to remove them all and take apart the frame as well and start the whole process over, because it was not lined up correctly. Second time around, it was fine and now we can finally enjoy the screen. I enclosed some images with all lights off and all lights on, and you can see the picture remains bright and crystal clear in any light setting, the reason we needed the AEON CLR 2 screen. We tried a much less expensive white screen initially, but it was quickly returned, as the picture was very washed out. White screens are necessary if you have a home theatre room with no windows or lights, so as to get the best picture. In rooms like mine (the living room, with windows and lights), you need this screen or some type of ALR screen. I was tempted to take off one star for the conflicting directions, but in all honesty, I am very pleased with the product. Just would ask the manufacturer to provide more clear and consistent instructions with this product. And remember, despite some reviewers claiming to have assembled this in 20 minutes or in some short amount of time, I find that very hard to believe. Plan on spending at least a few hours with two people, and if you complete the assembly in less time, that’s great. But don’t think it will take little time and then become frustrated that it is taking longer. Hope you enjoy this magnificent screen as much as I am.
