Came out awesome, doesn’t take long to do if you’re comfortable taking stuff apart. Heat gun or hair dryer to soften original touch pad, so prepare for that. That was the most challenging part, as well as the little clear plastic light guide parts to install in new touch pad bracket. Other than that it was a breeze. Just be patient and have fun with it. Love the wood pattern, it has a soft feel to it and it is great quality made parts!

This was great, it came with replacement hardware, the exact tools, and there is pretty good documentation for the install. Feel is nice and quality is great.

Wowwww, my controller looks awesome after putting everything together. Looks like a totally different controller.

I love the new look, and it was pretty easy to install while watching the video instructions. BUT today I went to change the two smaller buttons by the touch pad when I found out that it’s now damn near impossible to pry off the face plate without damaging it or the new shell. It’s nice that everything is nice and secure, but I wish I would have known this before assembling it. Make sure you make all changes to your controller on the first go. Ye be warned.

This was a gift for my grandson. He said it was kind of a pain putting it on his controller. He had to take the whole thing apart to get it on. Once on he said he really liked it. The color is bright it has a good feel and grip holding it. Very durable and compatible with his controller. Overall a hit.

I bought this shell and the controller for an early Christmas present for my Fiancé. He absolutely loves it! It didn't take him too long to put together. Maybe an hour and a half? The only down side is that he wasn't able to get the computer chip off of the other controllers touchpad. So he had to use the original touch pad instead of the custom one. Other than that though, it's perfect and works like a charm!

Extremy happy with the faceplate, I thought it would be very difficult to put together, however the company has a very helpful youtube channel explaining everything from start to finish. So certainly give them a try to make a custom controller to your liking.

Touch is not supported, so what is the point of buying the frame? Be careful not to be deceived

Got this part last as i was a little hesitant to take the entire controller apart, but i did and its working 100% fine, and the controller looks awesome now! Id suggest using a youtube video before taking your controller apart so you can see all the different parts, but this shell is definitely worth the price! It feels amazing, everything fits surprisingly perfectly, touch pad works with zero issues which is the part i was most hesitant about and i couldnt be happier with how it turned out! Now it matches my whole set up!

Bought this because I’m obsessed with woodgrain on electronics; I have a bd02 controller and didn’t know so can’t use the touchpad replacement (my own fault for not checking properly) BUT the faceplate still fits perfectly. Installation is very easy following their video, though fiddly for my chunky fingers, fit and finish are fantastic, I’ll definitely be getting the matching backplate and insert to go with it.
