Setup took less than five seconds, no pairing issues or extra steps. It worked right away, which is exactly what I wanted since that’s why I held off buying a replacement for so long. Functionally, it feels the same as the original and all buttons respond as expected. The only noticeable difference is that it doesn’t have the LG logo on the bottom, so it doesn’t look like an official LG remote. If you don’t care about branding and just want something that works immediately, this is a solid replacement.

Awesome replacement for our LG TV worked right out of the package our TV just detected a new magic remote and registered it to the TV and ready to go. I like the feel of it it has the same glossy back as the original I like the buttons better on this remote there bigger. The rocker for the pointer is larger also. It doesn't have as many quick access buttons as the original remote but I always forget about those anyway . We bought this so visiting family with small kids don't damage the original and were left withouton a remote. It was a good price has the pointer option(magic remote) Shipped very fast we got it the next day.

My original remote completely died after a decade, ordered this and its was super easy and painless to swap out, popped in some batteries and it worked perfectly immediately, all the the buttons function as they should. Fast shipping and good quality product.

This is a great remote for our LG TV. The remote may outlast the TV because it functions better than our TV. Batteries last a long time, months for us. I'm sure that depends on how many kids you have. Battery cover comes off a little easier than I prefer, otherwise its pretty great.

I bought this remote for a good price. I'm giving it 4 stars because of that, as it serves the purpose. I'm not giving 5 stars because it doesn't function correctly at times, primarily due to it's sensitivity. It's hard to push the center wheel to select something, as it tends to scroll as well. Sometimes I move the remote on my table, without touching any buttons, and it turns the tv on. Usually when I turn the tv off, it increases the channel by one. Regardless, it is worth it to deal with these inconsistencies due to the value.

Popped some batteries in and the control worked right away! It's like the og remote just without the logo. The pointer works like wonders for typing. It's incredible. Will be buying another one for my other LG TV.

I took a chance on this after seeing the price of the original LG one. My original LG remote stopped working out of the blue, with the light stuck on as if a button was stuck down. I took it to bits, cleaned it, replaced the batteries, re-paired to the TV but it didn't help so I resigned myself to replacing it. This one is identical to the original, except maybe slightly lighter? The magic pointer feature works fine as does the voice remote and I've found no issues using it with my 3 year old LG SM8050PLC. Hopefully I won't need to but would definitely buy again.

Our son lost the original remote, so we took a chance on this replacement and it worked perfectly. It functions just like the original with no issues at all. Super easy to set up and use. Great replacement option!
