As described. Works perfect and east to replace. Hood feels brand new again...practically lifts itself up now!

Bought new struts for my 2003 jaguar and they work better than the original for opening power, easy to install took less than 5 minutes with 2 people.

These were a very easy install, and what a difference it is to keep your hood up by itself, instead of worrying about propping it up with a stick or metal rod. Every hood should have these do away with the old rod situation.

It's perfectly on a 2006 X-Type. A lot of struts claim to fit, but their compressed length is about a half inch too long and the hood does not fully close.... These work perfectly. They are damped at the end of their stroke so the hood doesn't just slam all the way open. My only dislike (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is that they are not very strong at the beginning of their stroke, so you have to lift the hood up about one third of the way before they catch and lift the hood up on their own

Works perfectly fine. Much cheaper than what Jaguar would charge! Can't tell any difference between these and OEM parts.

does not fit a Jaguar XJ8 as stated. I could not return the product since it was after the return date. Now I am stuck with a product that IS NO GOOD

Appears good quality… easy install, Trunk / boot struts perfect Height. However, the hood struts are approximately 2 inches shorter than the originals! They work fine but now the hood is lower when fully opened. May make it difficult if you work under the hood quite often
