2013 chevy silverado 1500 For what they are, they are awesome. The leaks and the item breaking have to be user error, don't crank down on the screws and put the gasket on correctly along with the little screw seals and you'll be good. The quality and look feels really good actually. BUT...make sure you read the description, the curtesy/cargo lights don't automatically come on, you have to manually turn on the dome lights inside which kinda sucks and there are no daytime running lights. The brake light comes on only when you brake and the cargo lights only come on when you manually put them on from inside the cab, that means when you unlock your truck the bright lights won't turn on for you to help see or unload after you get out. The item is great quality but lacking features. UPDATE: Just a couple weeks later after some heavy rains, it's collecting water in the bottom. The installation went perfect and the seal was put on correctly, i also silicone all around so that leaves me to the screw holes, the little washers that come with it could be the issue, i would put clear silicone over the screws inside the screw cavity.

Great product. Easy to install. Just 2 screws and you’re done. Fixed my issue of water getting into my headliner. Looked on a couple of reviews and this one had the best one. Very pleased with the product very bright and visible at night. Wiring is easy it’s plug and play. Great value definitely would purchase again.

Update: Got the replacement. Everything seems good. Updated to 4 stars. I think I got a defective unit. A replacement is coming, so I'll update this when it comes. For now, I'm happy with the brightness, fit, and ease of installation. It looked great when installed. About 3 minutes after being installed I heard a loud pop. The housing near the left screw hole has cracked and water could now easily get into the housing. I didn't overtourqe (or at least not enough to cause cracking) so I believe I just got a defective unit.

I thought I had posted a review already, but here we are many weeks out (bought it sometime in January?). The installation was a breeze, I decided to use butyl tape (like I use on my boats), and so far it seems to be sealing and holding up great. . It lights up like it should, really bright. I get the white light for the bed with my panel switch, no problem This was installed on a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500, btw.

Fit perfect. Plug and play. 2 screws. Comes with foam gasket. No problems yet. Love the look.

The light looks great and functions as it should. However, the seal on this light will not hold up. I purchased this in Aug 2023. The first few rains it held up just fine. Fast forward to May 2024 and I have water leaking past the seal and into the headliner. Luckily I caught it fairly quick before too much damage was done. Have since removed the light and added additional sealant. Hopefully this resolves the issue.
