I didn't buy these for children. I bought these so me and my wife could absolutely destroy each other shooting and yelling across the house like adults. Alas, they did not work. We had to settle for the Rival line which was a lot more accommodating to my wifes delicate skin (but almost just as fun, Rival line is FiRe). So I gave one to my childhood friend and now WE destroy each other on whims. For real though, these are fast and they sting quite a bit for kids I imagine. It liken it to midway between being shot with a paintball and being shot with a spring loaded airsoft. Safety glasses minimum protection imo

This Nerf Hyper Siege -50 is so much fun. This nerfs gun comes with 40 rounds. The rounds are little yellow balls, they are light weight and somewhat rubbery. My son who is seven had no trouble priming the blaster at all, so nerf guns are a little harder for him to prime by himself. Shooting the gun is a lot of fun and boy does it shoot fast. Those little balls fly out of there so quickly. He really enjoyed the nerf gun, the look is and feel of the nerf gun is amazing. This is a great outdoor activity that any kid or an adult would enjoy. I have to say even my husband enjoyed playing outdoors with him. Protective eyeglasses or a mask must be worn. Safety is the most important factor when playing with these types of toys. The nerf hyper siege -50 does come with a pair of eye wear that are plastic. Overall, the Nerf Hyper Siege 50 is a lot of fun

My 12 year old ordered two of these. After delivery he went around the neighborhood looking for neighbor kids to play. They were busy or still at school so he came home disappointed. Being a great or horrible dad, depends on perspective I had to play with him. We dueled in the home. The projectiles are bouncy and they ricochet nicely, even the pets were victims. Few decorations and photo frames fell victim too. Got nice welts on our torsos they are so hard hitting. Then my wife came home from work and laid down the law. No more nerf hyper in the house, and we have to use eye protection, prescription glasses don’t count as eye protection. Reminding her she’s is my wife and not my mom got me no where but outside.

I bought this for my 8 year old son it was $10 cheaper on Amazon then it was in the stores! It was the same exact product with all the same extras. He absolutely loves and there have been no issues with it.

I purchased this for my grandson, he’s 9, he loves this gun, it shoots accurate, doesn’t need batteries, he pumps it up and shoots fast. I bought extra balls for this gun, you can load up to 50 balls in the chamber. The price was right!!

It's a lot of fun. Be careful though, they hit hard. I bought this because I, my husband, and kids like to ambush each other with nerf. This is too powerful to "shoot" at the kids. Now my husband... heh heh heh
