Great value for price, just plug it in and it works
Plug and play, no AC power needed. I've got 4 servers (2 Windows server and 2 Proxmox (Linux) connected via the include cables, no connectivity issues, nor drivers needed. I did not need to reboot the systems that were already powered on when I connected. Note that these are proprietary cables and aren't too long. KVM works with DisplayPort to VGA adapters as well. I have a wireless keyboard/trackball combo connected to it. Great value for the price, as long as your systems are relatively close. Build quality seems fine, the KVM itself is small and light and could slid around your workspace. The extended port switch is handy for this and can be placed in a much more convenient location You'll need to provide a VGA cable for connecting your monitor to the KVM. When switching with either the buttons on the kvm or the extended switch button, there is no delay with video or kbd/mouse. I can't comment on the screen resolution limits, as the monitor in use is a small 17" Dell designed for a server rack with a resolution of 1280x1024.

Excellent KVM for VGA and USB connectors.
If you have PCs and a monitor that have VGA connectors and a mouse, keyboard and webcam that have USB 3.0 connectors, this KVM device is perfect. Worked like a charm. Easy toggle between the two PCs.

Completely satisfied
Using it 2 connect 3 computers to wireless mouse, 32" monitor & PS2 keyboard. Works flawlessly, can boot from USB 4 installation of Linux mint. Highly recommended

cable length
It works well, but the cables that come with it are only about three foot. You do need to use the supplied cables, you can't replace them. The USB signal is merged into the VGA cable. The problem I run into though was extending the distance of the cable. When I attached a VGA extension cable, the video worked fine, but the USB function would not work. but other wise it's a great device, major space saver and I really like that the USB is merged into the VGA cable drastically cutting down on cable clutter. The only reason I gave it a four was the cable length and the fact that I couldn't use an extension cable. But I'm quite satisfied with the purchase and quality

Clean video, no glitches. Remote did not function.
This KVM worked well for me. Installation was simple - one VGA, one USB per PC. I initially had some issues with the screens not being centered on the display for two of the four attached PCs, but that seemed to sort itself out. The only issue I had was that the tiny remote-control switch did not work. It would only let me select two of the four PCs. Since I really didn't need the remote, it was OK. One request to the manufacturer: Have ALL cables, including the local console, exit from the BACK of the unit. My unit is awkwardly balanced on top of one of the 4 PCs, and the cables coming out the front are difficult to deal with.

Absolutely Perfect
I have 2 Computers with VGA video ports and one monitor with a VGA cord. With this device I was able to hook up the KVM four computer switch along with the mouse and keyboard in a matter of minutes without reading the included paperwork and everything worked. All cables included, how great is that. Windows 11 works. No software involved, just plug and great results. Two ports I'm not using for additional computers.

Repeatedly needs to be replugged to reboot
Amazon blocks me from contacting seller directly so a review is my only communication option. (Furthermore Amazon sends you to so many links to do anything I accidentally filed this under an item Amazon shouldn't have even permitted me to review as I had returned it because it was the wrong item when this review was intended for that item's replacement! But I digress.) I bought this to connect an hp flat screen monitor, a Gateway keypad and tried both an older and newer logitech wired (laser light not mechanical) mice to my primary Windows 10 hp and secondary Windows 7 Gateway desktop PCs (that both still use VGA monitor connectors). When using my Windows 10 the mouse repeatedly stops being connected then is reconnected and sometimes I can continue working or sometimes it ends up disconneced and I either change the SWITCH USB plug to a different USB port in the back of my PC OR rotate the 3 USB plugs (mouse/keypad/printer) on the front of the splitter/switch to different switch ports or I will use the remote to flip from PC2 then back to PC1. More often than not after flipping back and forth between not recognizing and recognizing the mouse I get a popup that says "Windows 10 does not recognize newest device" ie the SPLITTER SWITH and I have to change the switch USB in the back of the computer to a different USB port. My most recent attempt has been to replace the newer wired laser mouse with an older wired laser mouse... which lasted longer but is now starting to have the same Windows 10 suddenly not recognizing then recognizing the mouse. If I get tired of continuously having to climb under my desk to get to the back of my pc's to siwth USB ports I will next see if a wireless mouse makes any difference. Also there is NO TECH SUPPORT (no phone number or contact information in the owners manual other than telling you to replug and reboot which I have to do multiple times while typing the same paragraph). Because it doesn't work for any extended period of time I had to rate it a 1 star for Value and Overall although the ease of installation and the remote were great. I wish I could have communicated directly with the seller instead of via this review.

Decided not to keep it
I bought this as a replacement for an IOGear KVM I have that only handles two computers. It works okay, but every time I switch away and back to my Windows machine I have to remove the USB plug from the computer and plug it back in because the mouse starts skipping and mouse clicks get ignored. Unplugging and replugging the cable from the computer is the recommended solution from the manufacturer. :( This did not happen with my old KVM, so I don't intend to keep it and continue unplugging and replugging the USB cord into the Windows machine every time I switch away from the computer.
