I am already using their Powerline adapters. Just wanted to add more without WiFi. Good and Usefull product.Good speed transfer and reliable connection.

Needed a way to create a LAN connection to Sonos kitchen speaker (wifi too unreliable). Was very simple to set up and works reliably and consistently. Admittedly this doesn't require much bandwidth but that wasn't required in this particular scenario.

At the time I bought this product I wanted to address a WIFI blackspot issue I had in my house. I am aware of certain no-no's using this product such as ensuring they are in a wall socket and never in a gangway adaptor, but I was disappointed at the drop of network performance that I actually saw when connecting cat5 to either end.I lost about 30% of the suggested throughput - and whilst I know you never get the optimal, I was expecting more.I've had devolo powerline devices before from years ago, but much lower throughput and the performance drop was not as much as this - and that a was a much older house with older wiring.My intention was in buying this higher performance (and newer) model, I would get better performance.Don't get my wrong, I am getting more throughput than that old device I had which is a plus, but I think the product info should give more details about optimal conditions and what common setups can affect performance. (I only knew about the gangway power adaptor problem from experimenting previously - but wonder how many people suffer from that where its not mentioned.

Instantly improved connection status, looks good and unobtrusive and good value!!

Hook up well with the old type Devolo plugs, with no issues.
