This monitor was the very first monitor I ever bought and experienced modern gaming on at the time after coming from standard definition televisions with high input lag. At the time of using this monitor for the first time on my PS4 Pro, the experience for me was transformative because the difference in input lag was immediate, despite me being a console gamer and only having ever experienced 30 and 60 fps. I used this monitor for my PS4 Pro over the course of 2 years all the way up until the PS5 came out and that is when I eventually upgraded to a 4k 60Hz monitor. But before I upgraded, the monitor was excellent and served all of my needs at the time. It was excellent value for the money, all while being perfect for 1080P console gaming. The image clarity and the low response rate made games so much more enjoyable to play than older televisions. This monitor was basically a last 'hoorah' purchase of the later stage of the PS4 generation so I experienced games like Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Spider-Man 2018 ALL on this monitor at 1080P and the games still looked great at the time. Not sure if you can still buy the monitor but I still have mine and it holds up great. I know it would be amazing to connect older HDMI compatible consoles and other hardware to it. I definitely enjoyed my experience with this monitor when I was still using it.

I can't believe I was using a tv for so long before I bought this monitor. I mostly play Rainbow 6 seige on pc and noticed I was at a bit of a disadvantage due to reaction time against other players. After asking why it was that seemingly everyone had a better reaction time than me I was told by some of the other players that it could be because of my current display being a 4K tv and having a large input lag. I did some research and sure enough input lag on my tv was 60-150ms. That is a really long time when your game depends on lightning reaction times. I also noticed that playing on a tv, I didn't see some things when I was turning my aim quickly due to ghosting. So I got this monitor and the difference was night and day. My reaction times went from a drunkard's 350-400ms to a cracked out call of duty player's 200-220ms: faster than most of the people I was playing against. I did notice there is still a slight amount of ghosting even after adjusting some monitor settings but it is still 1000 times better than using a tv. The color is fantastic as well as the contrast. I can really see fine details when in game when it really matters. It's definitely a huge plus that I paired this monitor with my AMD graphics card to utilize freesync. No more ugly lines in the middle of the screen where half the screen was a frame behind. My ONLY issue with the monitor is that when you slouch in your chair, the monitor lets you know by showing you a washed out picture. Viewing angles aren't the monitor's strong suit but it is still great for one person using it to game on, exactly my purpose for buying it. So that doesnt detract any stars from my rating seeing as this is marketed to gamers and gamers like to sit close to their monitors and dead center for the best possible experience. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase and I will likely buy 2 more for a triple monitor setup because the cost on this monitor is very nice compared to other similar monitors.

I want to start out by saying that this is a great monitor. I had a 4k 40" Samsung TV with HDR I was using but I moved it to the bedroom because it had issues with any stationary images. Even the background of my PC which changes every 1 minute would stay "ghosted" for a little and fade. And the one that was the worst of the images was very problematic. So I had to get something. I wanted a monitor with 4k, HDR, etc. But I want to wait a bit for the technology price to come down and quality to stabilize. But I was not sure which monitor I wanted. A 1080p or 1440p. I figured I wanted IPS but TN was possible. And I was sure I wanted a full 8-bit panel. No 6 bit + frc. I did a lot of searching and found that this monitor, although TN, was full 8 bit. I figured I would take the chance on a TN panel even though I was using a Dell I borrowed from my mother-in-law to save my 4k TV. I was shocked by this monitor. The good and great: -2 HDMI -A hold in the back of the stand that has a cover for running the hdmi wires in a nice clean way. -EASILY adjustable stand that takes up minimal space -Colors and viewing angle: *this is big. This monitor, at least the one I received, produces fantastic colors. I compared it to photos I had worked on and printed and was getting a match. And the calibration was showing that it was producing fantastic colors as did the eye test. Viewing angles are awesome. From the sides it has a good distance until it shifts slightly reddish to me. Now, from the top down there is a major shift but really that is not an issue for me as I never stand and look down at any monitor. And the bottom view angles, when I tilt it up or have hit set up higher are amazing with very little color shift if you get a major tilt. Sitting at a desk this usually is never an issue. -Brightness is awesome. Now I use it in a darker room but even when it is bright in the room at times it looks very bright. I actually had to turn it down a bit. -The monitor has great controls. I really like the little stick that is on the back for navigating around and stuff. If makes switching inputs fast and easy. -Great response time and no blur at all in games. Cons/Bad stuff. -Viewing angles are not IPS good. Even though this does not bother me it can be a negative for some. Then again, if you are sitting in front of this or only at a little angle it is great so fine for me.

La entrega fue muy rápida para ser un envío gratis ya que tardó 3 días en llegar (lo adquirí durante el HotSale 2018). El contenido de la caja básicamente es el monitor con el brazo, la base fija, un cable HDMI de alta velocidad, cable de audio de 3.5 mm, cable de corriente con adaptador y cable DisplayPort. Así mismo, trae manual de usuario y garantía con ASUS de 3 años por defectos de fabricación. El monitor tiene una manufactura de alta calidad, se siente sólido en el armado y es muy fácil de ensamblar a la base fija. Se puede ajustar a la altura que proporciona el brazo y gira 90 grados. La inclinación alcanza entre 30 y 35 grados, y no refleja destellos de luz, ya que el panel tiene un acabado mate. La base es amplia, permitiendo que el monitor no presente movimientos bruscos si la mesa o escritorio donde reposa se mueve. El botón especial GamePlus para la navegación en la configuración es muy responsivo y fácil de utilizar. En cuanto al peso, en la página ofical de Asus menciona 5.1 kg. y en efecto se siente de esa medida. El tamaño de la pantalla tomando en cuenta el borde, es de 56.5 cm de largo x 32.5 cm de altura x 4 cm de profundidad. La medida de profundidad tomando una inclinación de 0 grados y contando el brazo ronda entre los 14 y 16 cm. La altura máxima que alcanza ensamblado al brazo, es de 50.5 cm y la altura miníma es de 37 cm. Los altavoces de 2W funcionan muy bien para un cuarto pequeño (en mi caso lo tengo instalado en mi escritorio de trabajo). Si no te convence, puedes agregar speakers independientes por la entrada de 3.5 mm con la que cuenta. En lo referente a la calidad de imagen, tiene muy buena iluminación y diversos modos prestablecidos, así como la opción de guardar 5 configuraciones propias. Lo he probado jugando en Xbox One y es un hecho que el tiempo de respuesta de 1 ms es real. La gama de colores es un poco opaca, pero con la configuración personalizada se mejora bastante. Los negros son profundos y al jugar FPS con zonas oscuras no permite la perdida de visión, ya que define de manera correcta el contenido en pantalla. La resolución es de 1080p Full HD nativa y fluye de manera correcta a 60Hz de refresco. La tecnología EyeCare es muy útil, después de jornadas de juego que rondan entre 4 y 6 horas, tu vista no termina fatigada ya que la tecnología Ultra-Low Blue Light ayuda a ello. El conectarlo a una laptop para trabajo, también es muy buena opción, permite amplitud de visión y las perspectivas de inclinación no presentan zonas apagadas. Para contenidos de streaming como Netflix, la imagen se nota en Full HD. Recomiendo ampliamente este monitor para gamers de consolas de sobremesa que buscan una opción de entrada con características básicas de tiempo de respuesta y tasa de refresco. Es importante mencionar que su configuración, ensamble y uso es muy sencillo, por la personalización que puedes imprimirle. Así mismo, la balanza precio-calidad, es excelente ya que cuenta con tecnología FREESYNC, que monitores de marcas como BENQ (que rondan este precio) no tienen. Las características de giro e inclinación también son muy relevantes, si buscas un monitor adaptable para espacios reducidos.

This monitor is great for gaming. It’s 1ms response time is amazing for gaming and just for normal use. The 75hz makes everything just a little bit more smooth for gaming. Dual HDMI is very useful. I plugged my Xbox into this monitor using the extra HDMI plugin and starting playing on that as well. One small thing to meantion. the fram was a little bit warped whenI got it. It is hardly noticeable and so far it hasn’t effected anything else. With a little bit of practice you could probably master navigation in the on screen menu. The buttons are a little finicky and there is a certain order in which to press them. Otherwise the menu give you lots of option to mess around with. It’s adjustable stand is very useful but can also be a little annoying. Without putting pressure on the base it can be a little difficult to adjust the rotating feature of the monitor. But I’ve loved this monitor so far and I use it all the time with no problem. I would suggest this to people who are looking for 1080p or is just looking for an upgrade.

Muy contento con mi compra. Tuve un problema de píxeles muertos en el centro de la pantalla, muchas gracias a Amazon que lo resolvió en 3 días ya tengo mi reemplazo. Lo uso principalmente para jugar en una PS4 Slim y ver películas en un Apple TV 4K. Y aunque no es un monitor 4K HDR. 1080p y 24” es el tamaño maximo recomendado para jugar en dicha resolución 100% nativa sin píxeles simulados. Considerando los ppi (píxeles por pulgada) créanme nada le pide a un tv 4K. Tengo otro Apple TV 4K en la sala conectado a una TV 4K de 48” y viendo a detalle de cerca y de lejos se ven mejores mis películas de iTunes y Netflix así como mis juegos en este monitor Asus FHD. Recordemos también que para una experiencia máxima de juego en 4K no debemos exceder las 48” el resto ya serían píxeles simulados. Por último recordar que las TV por muy bonitas y grandes sencillamente no están diseñadas para jugar por más marketing que les hagan. Cerca del 98% de las TVS actuales tienen muchos problemas de input lag que imposibilita el juego en tiempo real, así como de tiempo de respuesta de más de 50ms(GTG) lo cual crea en efecto de estela conocido como (ghosting) muy incómodos ambos. Resumen: para jugar en PC o consola o conectar tu caja de streaming en Resolución FHD este es el monitor que debes tener.

This monitor is great for gaming and watching movies. It's got a very loud speaker and great picture quality. The only thing that could make it better is if there were a remote available for it. I bought my first one in 2018 and it is still working really well. I've used it for my PS4, PS5, work laptop, my own PC and my work macbook, all with no problems. I bought a second one in early 2021 and they have both been awesome. I can easily switch back and forth between my PC and my mac.

Compre este monitor para mi ps4 y la verdad esta perfecto, la imagen corre super bien, no se traba, los colores se ven perfectos si los modificas, muy facil le mueves a los botones, todo perfecto, tiene modos de juego lo cual esta aun mejor, cuenta con bocinas , ahi si quiza le falta un poco de calidad pero quien juega con el audio de un monitor de todos modos, para eso se usan audifonos, en si EXCELENTE MONITOR LO RECOMIENDO AL 100%
