I purchased this grip strengthener to improve my forearm strength for rock climbing. I wanted a simple tool that I could keep at my desk or by the sofa to get some passive training in while working or watching TV. I have been using this daily for about three weeks. I usually do high repetition sets on the lower settings and shorter sets on the max resistance. Performance and Experience The standout feature is the adjustable resistance dial. It allows you to change the tension from very light (22 lbs) up to quite heavy (132 lbs) just by twisting the knob on the front. This is excellent because my partner can use it on the lower setting and I can crank it up for myself without needing two different devices. The handle has a rubberized texture which makes it comfortable to squeeze even when the resistance is high. I was worried the plastic might dig into my palm but the ergonomic shape fits the hand well. The spring mechanism is smooth and surprisingly quiet so it does not annoy others in the room when I am using it. Pros • Adjustability: The resistance range is wide enough to cover rehabilitation needs through to strength training. • Ergonomics: The non slip rubber handles prevent the tool from sliding around in a sweaty hand. • Build Quality: The spring feels robust and the tension has remained consistent so far. Cons • Scale Accuracy: There are markings on the side to show the weight but it is hard to know the exact poundage you are at. • Handle Width: People with smaller hands might find the reach a little wide when the device is fully open. Verdict This is a high quality training tool that does exactly what it promises. It is sturdy, versatile, and effective for building hand strength. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to improve their grip.

Thought I'd give these a try at 10 quid a pair and i have to say I'm not disappointed, they have a good weight to them and they look and feel of pretty good quality. At the moment the low stress setting seems the best for multiple reps ( for me anyway) but the adjustment for higher stress settings is easy to do just by turning the knobs clockwise or anticlockwise. Placed on the coffee table these are perfect for a little light exercise whilst watching tv, good for circulation and keeping good strength in hands and arms . Handy gadget to have.

I picked up two of these, given the relatively cheap price, and was pleasantly surprised by what I received. These grip trainers are quite well made, with a fairly sturdy construction that feels solid in the hand, though admittedly the handle itself is not as ergonomic as it could be. It also comes with a small sheet of recommended grip exercises, a great inclusion for someone who wants to diversify the grip exercises they're able to do. The springs that supply the tension feel solid, I don't forsee any issues with them for a long time. Given their size, these are nicely portable and could easily be taken almost anywhere. My only complaint would be the adjustment knob. You turn it to adjust the weight between 10kg and 60kg, but the knob itself is not that smooth, feeling a little bit rickety when adjusting the tension. Between this and the slightly uncomfortable handles, the product isn't perfect, but is great for the relatively cheap price and will be more than enough for 99% of people

It is good, easy to change the resistance and the size is good for medium or small hands. Nothing to complain. Good build quality it seems.

The hand grips are a good product, adjustable tensions for all strengths.

Due to recently damaging my arm i was worried about muscle wastage and wanted something to keep my arm active, so ordered these and got them next day. Honestly for the price they are ok, i am a 40yr old guy who is naturally strong, these may be a but much for some people. The adjustment on them does very little (if anything) and i feel its more of a gimmick feature to sell them rather than a functional feature. But yea ok made, cheap and for me the right amount of friction, result.

Good to strengthen a weak wrist and hand.

Very sturdy as other reviews say. Great having the option to adjust the difficulty as well. If I was to be picky, the only small downsides are the grip- which isn't the comfiest with excessive use, and the adjustment dial- which feels a little flimsy.
