I got this for my husband for an early Father's Day present. He loves it!! I had bought him the 8" blade recently for larger fish and he likes that, so I surprised him with this one for our smaller pan fish. We love the protective case for it and it was nice and sharp for a quick cleaning session.

Great bait knife for saltwater fishing.

I’ve used this knife several times this year. The blade seems durable but, I haven’t used it enough to test the edge retention. The edge gets the job done and I’ve cleaned several catfish and the edge seems to be holding thus far, time will tell. I will update as soon as I can.

Super sharp filet knife. I haven't owned it very long yet so I can't attest to how long the sharpness lasts, but this knife arrived razor sharp. I purchased this to filet my own deer meat for freezing and it just slices through so easily, I'm very impressed. I also really like the grip, it feels nice and ergonomic and doesn't slip around in my hand and is easy to hold for a long time, its big enough that my hand doesn't cramp around it.
