MM1050 Military-Marine 10x50 Tactical Binocular

Terrific optics and very durable. It’s a bit challenging to thread the strap through the holes in the binoculars but the included case is awesome. They work great for rocket launches here in Florida and also for astronomy in nature walks.

PRO - Excellent depth of field and razor sharp clarity. After you use these at dusk, or dawn you’ll be spoiled for anything else. Waterproof and optics are sealed so they never fog up internally. Rugged coating protects well against wear and drops. Great case is nicely padded with smooth zippers. CON - Sold as Military-Marine, but for marine use, you’ll certainly need to buy the optional floating neck strap. Not sure why some reviewers complain about how heavy these binoculars are, that comes with great optics and thick armor.

Very strong and great optics

I’d give these 5 stars if they were just a bit lighter, as they can grow heavy around one’s neck if you wear them for more than a couple of hours (unless you are a wrestler😂). Very good lenses and are easy to focus.

I'm a retired veteran. I have been many places in my 20 year career, most of them in forward locations. I've always used Steiner binocs. They have the sharpest optics, are the most durable in extreme environments. I pulled a pair out of a wet sand-dune, rinsed them with some canteen water, blew on the optics and they were, of course ready to go. Ice, rain, mud, sand, hard-knocks, it doesn't matter, your Steiners are always there and ready to go. This pair I have will last for decades, I love them.

Not as promised visually...No way distance is accurate as claimed....Live on a river about 10 feet from the banks and can't even read the boat names...

2nd set of Steiner, 1st lost in move I thought I would replace my lost Steiners with something a little less costly. Found out the hard way what a difference there is. This is a twice in a "lifetime" purchase for me & worth every penny. Will not lose this pair & will pass down to my son after boot camp.

This is a well constructed optic device. It is robust and a little heavy. Water resistance is reliable and effective. The clarity and light gathering is top knotch. I have had other binocs, but this is one of the best and certainly the best performance for the dollars invested. I've had my first Steiner binocs since 1989; still working well. One caveat: I did lose an eyepiece. They can work out with use. If you are not careful, they can be lost. Steiner supports their devices with all necessary parts.
