Dell 7-in-1 USB-C Multiport Adapter - DA310

I purchased the Dell 7-in-1 USB-C Multiport Adapter (DA310) on the recommendation of my IT guy, and it has been a game-changer for my work-from-home setup. I use it to connect my two monitors to my laptop, and it works flawlessly—no lag, no connectivity issues. The build quality feels solid and reliable, and having multiple ports in one compact adapter is incredibly convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking to streamline their workspace! Another great thing is it's compact and I can take it anywhere with me when I travel.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Well it would be nice if computers had more ports these days. So it makes items like these necessary sadly. But this one is very good, relatively small, has an ethernet port, has two usb ports (good for mice sometimes and keyboards) and fits inside a laptop bag well. Would recommend.

Brilliant kettle device that lets you connect multiple external devices to your laptop (eg, I used it for two monitors and an external hard drive) using one small compact device!

Works very well. Just plug it in and all the ports will function properly at the same time. Of the video ports I have only used, and will only use in the foreseeable future, the hdmi, so the other 2 are a waste of space in my case. The ethernet port works great; and the way the cord extends and retracts by just turning both halves, makes for a very clean design. You can even plug the laptop charger to the usb-c port in this hub, and it will charge the laptop at the same time, all the while using only 1 usb-c port on the machine. And the price was quite lower than the one advertised on the manufacturer's site. As I said, I could not be happier with this purchase.

Small 7 in 1 adaptor with short retractable USB-C cord. Already used for ethernet and for display port connections with perfect results on my Dell laptop with only USB-C ports that I had difficulty with when using other adapters previously. Took off one star as it is expensive compared to some other adapters but has all the needed ports (rather than need at least 2 adapters), appears solidly made, and works.

A bit pricey - but such a GREAT USB-C HUB. All the features you want - Ethernet port, Video ports (BOTH HDMI & Display port), along with more USB ports. Solid build and such a nice compact package which can pull the connecting cord inside. Highly recommened.

I bought this because my new Dell XPS only has USB C ports. My wireless mouse employs a simple older USB dongle. In hindsight I should have spent the money for a non-dongle bluetooth wireless mouse. I’ve used a couple of the other ports (HDMI and second monitor), but with a lot less frequency and urgency than I thought I would. Overall I might not have needed this in the first place. My biggest complaint is the tether. If I’m using an external (wireless dongle) mouse I essentially have to use my laptop as a desktop because of the adapter hanging off one of the ports. I can’t really use a lap desk and sit in the lounge chair or on the couch using my laptop as a laptop. An adapter like this that uses either WiFi, bluetooth, or some proprietary micro dongle technology to leave the adapter on a desk (or coffee table) and free my laptop from the desk would be much more useful and appreciated. (Though it would require its own power source, I know.) Overall it’s an adequate and useful device, but it really does physically restrict the usefulness of a laptop.

I was hesitant to get this because of the cost, but it is well worth it. With computers moving everything to USB-c ports only, this really works well to attach an extra monitor, keyboard (for those who still have corded ones), etc to your computer. Well worth the money.

This is a great product that serves its purpose well. It is easy to carry in a laptop case.

En general el producto es muy bueno y funciona, tengo múltiples conexiones a través de un solo puerto en la computadora, de igual manera me brinda la oportunidad de tener conexión de red por cable, tienes diferentes puertos de video lo no tan conveniente es que solo puede utilizar un puerto de 3, a la vez. (O HDMI, VGA, DPORT.), otra cosa que me hubiera gustado es que para el cargador que utilizo que es de 130 W, el adaptador no lo soporta, y si conecto el cargador mediante el adaptador tengo mensajes en la lap de que el adaptador de corriente no es original o no tiene la suficiente potencia. (Que en la descripción del adaptador, viene especificado el máximo de potencia, aún así lo adquirí.) En general estoy satisfecho con la compra, y me ha resultado de mucha utilidad este adaptador.

dieses Teil ist im täglichen Einsatz. Sehr brauchbar ist die Netzwerkstecker. Das hat mir mein Microsoft Surface Tablet gerettet. Tablet hat sich nicht mehr starten lassen, auch nicht über USB. Boot über Netzwerk hat jedoch funktioniert und alles reinstalliert.

This “dongle” works perfectly. No issues with HDI Or Ethernet.

Very good product, saved my life on the go om several occasions. Super easy to use, compatible almost with anything! I definitively reccomend it especially if you travel a lot for work as it takes very little space but performs amazingly!
