I had one of these for years. I run a large animal rescue so it gets a lot of use and it’s been in use for years. I purchased a second one to keep at home last July. I’ve only used it a couple of times, it already can’t charge. I’ve tried a new charger so it’s the reader itself. So disappointing.

Works great. Easy to hold and scan.

Reads chips. However, the Bluetooth function doesn’t seem to work.

I microchip all of my Maine coon cats before they go to new homes with FI Nano micro chips. They scanned them perfectly along with other ones that my pets have.

quick and easy. i couldn't remember my dog's microchip number, and i kept forgetting to ask the vet.

Used it several times and now the battery won't charge. It was stored indoors so the battery must have been defective. Bummer.

I bought a microchip to chip my dog and this scanner. Watched a few YouTube videos but the only thing was in the Veterinarian videos as they were about to microchip the dog they would scan the shot first to make sure it scanned. When I tried to do that with the microchip shot I bought, this didn’t scan/read it at all. So at first I thought it was faulty. I went ahead and microchipped my dog, tried the scanner again, and it picked up the chip immediately. I’m sure the veterinarian scanners are much stronger but as long as this scans the chip in the actual animal, I’m happy. Thank you!

Wir müssen immer mal wieder zu Totfunden um auf einen Chip zu prüfen. Bisher nutzten wir die Scanner von Halo. Diese entladen sich aber ständig selber und waren generell immer leer. Dieser Scanner hier ist handlicher, Chip wird zügig erkannt und Gerät schaltet sich nach kurzer Zeit selbst ab. Akku hält demnach lange und muss nicht immer vor jedem Einsatz erst stundenlang geladen werden. Auch ist er preislich nicht zu toppen. Für jeden Tierdchutzverein, Tierarzt und Tierheim absolut zu empfehlen.
