Bought this for a good friend leaving for vet school, we both looked through it and it has literally every bit of information you could think of. Because of that, it's not crazy in-depth, but more of a quick info book for students. But it does have info on toxicology, pharmacology, pocket pets, a section for chickens, diseases, viruses, parasites and so much more. Will definitely be getting one for myself.

This is the real deal when it come to Veterinary medicine.
This is a reference manual for vetinarians. If you don't have a good grasp of medical knowledge, then get a medical dictionary ready. Also, the print is very small so you may need a magnifying glass.

Great book
I'm not a vet or a doctor but it does help when you have a ranch full of animals and the vet ask what it looks like and or how I might know what it could be if he can't make it out to check for me. Full of knowledge.

I give 4 stars only because of paper quality which is very poor and super thin, the content is absolutely perfect.

Great manual for abbreviated disease review
I absolutely love this book. It’s great for me as I am in clinics and about to take my NAVLE. I use Merck to reference diseases, normal physiology, pharmacology, dentistry, etc. when I need to brush up on these topics. I highly recommend to preclinical vet students who are learning “the ‘ologies”!
