Update after 3 days of use: Taking away 2 stars from original 5 stars because noticing some rusting on the inner cirlcle of the push switch which I had to scrape with a fork to make them go away, with every click some brown rust is coming out, while looking at the inner body through the bottom open part I'm noticing more rust, indicating the inner body may have more rust. Product is still working fine though. I checked with a magnet, while they claim this is stainless steel it's not made of high quality 304 grade corrosion resistant stainless steel as it's attracted to magnet. Acceptable given the price. They say it's waterproof but strictly keep it away from water as that may result in more rusting. Original review: Buying gas lighter was really stressful this time around mainly because most of the products either stops working completely within few weeks or malfunctions with intermittent sparks that may take 5-6 tries to ignite the burner. So now it's all depends on the aftersales service of a brand to prove that they are worth their asking price of ~ ₹100+ Also have you noticed how most gas lighters look basically the same from different brands? It's because most of the them or even reputed one like Prestige doesn't make their own and gets them made / or rebrands with their own label from a 3rd party maker. I would very much love to see some invention happening in this category. Now why I have chosen this lighter over others is because Ritu makes them at their own factory, you can see it's written that mfg by J. K. Products which is their own unit. Also giving 2 Years of warranty compared to other's standard 1 year. Going by their claim on the product box the handle and the tip on the top is indeed soft touch and made out of rubber material. It's not sensational but provides adequate grip while using. The lighter is quite heavy and has a big piezo head for sparks when compared to slimline stainless steel lighters. The lighter was able to ignite our burner every single time without any repeated attempts. Little things I noticed is that the top head rubber cap is not one piece, instead it's just a cap which you can remove with some force. The rubber handle wasn't clean and had a dirty look which can be cleaned easily so not a big deal. The heart shaped hook is inverted so if you have to put your lighter it won't look alright as the heart shape will be upside down. Overall a really nice buy if you want to purchase a gas lighter. I will update my review, rating if I face any trouble regarding the product or their services in the future.
