Finally! Great stand for 12" tablet
Let me start by saying that I have purchased and tried out 8 different tablet stands in my search for a desk stand for my 12" Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet. This one was the best and has earned a permanent place on my desk. Pros: Bottom is very "grippy" - this thing isn't going anywhere even with aggressive tapping One piece and solid - nothing to break/wear out so I predict a long life Doesn't cover up the buttons on the bottom edge of the tablet - this is huge and was a major issue with most other stands.the Android tablets have a very thin bezel and if the stand blocks the back and menu buttons usability is severely hampered Works in portrait orientation even for my ludicrously long 12" tablet Looks very sleek sitting on the desk Cons: No adjustment for angle. This is the only major downside. The angle in the "upright position" is fine for me working at my desk, but when I tried it out on my kitchen counter (it's intended purpose ironically) I found the angle too steep in the upright position, and too shallow in the "flat" position. So take note if that is how you plan on using it. Feels a bit precarious in portrait orientation, but so far has stayed put to spite a bit of wobbling

the item is very nice and works well with the bare iPad
in order to use this stand, I have to take my iPad out of its case as the holding slot will not accommodate the thickness of my case. Other than that, the item is very nice and works well with the bare iPad.

Good looking, and does the job
Not a bad stand for the price I paid. Was expecting something with a bit more weight. I like that you can position a tablet horizontally - with a slight incline. The non-slip base works well on most surfaces. The base is hollow - with a hole through the center (sort of like a donut hole). Makes me wonder if there was a reason for that, being lined with the same non-slip coating as the bottom the sculpted cavity looks like it might have been designed to hold something. The plastic surface is easily cleaned, but the non-slip material I'm not so sure about as it's a bit foam like. I've got no complaints.

Very versatile stand, non skid and works in landscape and portrait mode for tablets.
I am rating this stand 5 stars as it was great value for the $8 price. I can put an iPad in it standing up in portrait mode or in landscape mode. It can also be used with any other tablet in both orientations. I've tried several Kindle Fire and Samsung Galaxy Note tablets and it works fine as it's a simple design that just provides a non-skid holder with a lip so that your tablet can rest at an angle. It also works with thin protective cases. It stays put on any flat surface including my bed. I primarily bought it as I wanted to use my older tablets as digital photo frames and have a constant loop running on them, but have found myself doing other stuff with it as it's small and very portable, and goes with any kind of decor. It looks good everywhere including the bedside and I've been using it to read and view videos on my bed. It also works nicely with smaller tablets with an alarm clock app, or to use the tablet as a music player to switch radio stations in the morning. It can even be used in the bathroom if you so desire! Sometimes if I am painting something I pull up the reference pic on the iPad and this stand has a nice viewing angle. It's also great to use your iPad as a second screen when you're working on one doc and want to refer to another. This stand became so useful to me due to it's portable size and versatility and simple design that I ended up using it constantly. I am thinking of getting another one if the price goes down again.

Pretty good tablet stand.
Simple, effective and does not take space. I have other stand for my iPad but now I use this exclusively. The angle is not adjustable but I think it is good enough for most people to use. Not having moveable part mean less chance of breakage. If you like simplicity, if the angle is right is good enough and if the price is right then I think you will be happy with this stand.

Not terrible, Just not Awesome
This looks cool and it does a nice job in certain respects. Overall I think there are better options out there.

Three Stars
Pretty good, I wish the lay down angle was better but this is a solid paperweight / stand.

BARELY ADEQUATE FOR LANDSCAPE MODE; A JOKE FOR PORTRAIT MODE
BARELY HOLDS UP A TABLET IN LANDSCAPE MODE AND FORGET ABOUT PORTRAIT MODE; IT JUST FALLS OVER
