My 11 year old Husky mix, Stella, was diagnosed with bi-lateral hip dysplasia in January. I found this product, asked my vet for her approval, and started Stella on these supplements immediately. I also have a 10 year old Rottweiler mix and a 4 year old purebred Rottweiler who have been on these supplements just as a precaution since the breed is known for bad hips. Stella is also on other medication for her hip dysplasia but all dogs seem to be doing well on these, they enjoy the taste, and have no problem eating them. I enjoyed the 15% discount when purchasing 2 or more supplements which was in effect as early as last month when I placed my last order. I just placed this order and see I only get a 10% discount which is disappointing. Please bring back the 15% discount; it helps those that have several big dogs using your product. If the discount continues to diminish then I will have to look for another product to use, which is a shame since my girls like these so much. Update 5/11/14: I wanted to let everyone know that MaxxiDog has phenomenal customer service! Per their suggestion in their comment of my review, I joined their free club so I can continue to receive the 15% discount. I joined the MaxxiDog club the next day and received an email stating that they refunded me the $3.50 difference, so I ended up with a 15% discount on my last order! When I first ordered from them in January I read about their outstanding customer service; I can now attest to that. Not many companies go out of their way to keep their customers happy like MaxxiDog. I'm incredibly impressed. Thank you!!! :-)

I had my american bull dog on several brands of glucosamine prior to MaxxiFlex Plus, including Pet Naturals of Vermont and Naturvet Hipflex. I do feel that MaxxiFlex has yielded the best results. However, my dog is still pretty stiff in the evenings - it's just not quite as bad as it was. Since I have seen an improvement, I will keep her on MaxxiFlex, as I do like the ingredient list and it has been somewhat effective. Update: I notice my girl is worse when not on MaxxiFlex Plus, so I make sure not to run out. I wanted to add a quick note about the makers of this great stuff. They ran a promotion that I tried to take advantage of, but my package never came (long Amazon story, will spare you.) By the time I figured out my package wasn't coming, the promotion had expired. I shared the story with MaxxiDog, and they were kind enough to provide me with a new promotion code. I appreciate when companies appreciate their customers! Update 2: My dog was over exercised the other day for her age and joint problems, and I was afraid we wouldn't be able to get her to move later that night or the next day or two...while she was a little stiff that night, she was bright eyed the next morning with no residual stiffness. I am more and more convinced that this product makes a huge difference for her. Update 3: For years our girl got so stiff at night she could barely get up to go out. I think we are on our 5th or 6th bottle of MaxxiDog. The other night, not only was she up, she was going up and down the basement stairs, checking on the kids we had over who were down there watching movies, and no stiffness the next day or night. It is nice to see her getting around better! In addition, the customer service with this company is superb - and no, I am not affiliated with them in any way. I am just a happy customer who found a great product by chance, and I am so glad I did!

Summit is a 10 plus year old Aussie Shepherd/ Border Collie Mix with a body ravage by arthritis. His body is such that he thinks that he can do but his body cannot follow thru on. Using this product, has helped Summit improve his quality of life. He is more alive and willing to out. Steps that he previously chose not to climb are no longer a problem. Albeit, he climbs them one at a time, but he gets up the dozen sharp angled steps. He has no problem with the pills. They taste good and have not caused any stomach distress. Summit and I have been thru alot and it is good to see his days are improving.

Been using for awhile now and I must say that my dogs joints seem to be at ease

I got a rescue dog called Dexter. He is a cross bread (most likely Labrador and Boxer) and is approximately 7 or 8 years old. I've noticed lately that he is becoming a little bit reluctant to jump over the hurdles when we are doing our weekly agility training. A fellow classmate suggested whether it might be due to early stage of joint problems. Since both of us really like our agility classes, I decided to buy a dog joint supplement for him. The MaxxiFlex plus is the first joint supplement I have given Dexter. I started by giving him double dosage as recommended and I can already see some improvements in him. Some of my classmates also commented on his improvement during our training last night. It is still early days, but I'm definitely going to continue giving him this supplement. Very happy the first vitamins I got for my god and even being like a pill for him is like candy. He easily eat it . And I believe is good for him. He has artrosis at young age.

Mon Golden Retriever a 16 ans, il a la pêche, mais comme tous les chiens, il a de l'arthrose, et donc du mal à se lever, il tombe aussi. D'habitude j'achète du Seraquin, j'ai essayé ce complément (la base est la même: chondro/glucosamine) et il se déplace déjà mieux au bout de deux jours. Dès que j'arrête de lui donner ces compléments alimentaires, il n'arrive plus à se lever. C'est efficace!!!! Je lui donne bien pendant les repas pour éviter les brûlures d'estomac (nous, on ne le sait pas peuchère). Ce produit est donc aussi efficace que le Seraquin et en plus il y a deux fois plus de cachets pour 6 euros de plus seulement, c'est donc plus avantageux. Comme ces cachets en général sont apétants, les chiens les avalent sans problème (d'autre part, la livraison a été rapide, c'est appréciable aussi!)

My lovely boy is almost 13 now and started suffering really badly with arthritis last winter and could hardly walk, shaking and trembling legs leaving him struggling to even go for toilet visits. After medication from the vet which upset his tummy a lot and made him quite poorly, I started looking for a natural supplement instead. After trying two other products which didn't seem to help him much, I came across MaxxiFlex Plus. This contains a variety of quality ingredients that research suggested would be beneficial for an older dog like mine. Wanting an effective treatment that left my dog pain-free and able to walk more easily, I decided to try MaxxiFlex and bought it in May. You are recommended to give a double dose initially, but that upset my lads tummy (although he has always had a sensitive stomach). I reduced the dose to the normal recommended (2 tablets a day for him). Unlike lots of dogs seem, he doesn't like the taste, so I break them in half and squash a bit of sandwich spread around them. He gobbles them straight down now! My dog has gone from being in agony and unable to get up without help when he's been lying down, to getting to his feet on his own and walking without wobbling and also seems to have no pain. While he will never be racing around like he used to, for an arthritic dog he does get around just fine without needing help to stand. He is now going for 3 short walks a day, slowly I admit, but he seems to enjoy them and its helping him to keep more mobile. The rest of the day he wanders round the garden as he likes and it has restored quality of life for him. If you have a problem with your own dog, I highly recommend you give this product a try for a couple of months. It has been so beneficial for my lad, worth every penny spent.
