All these years I've been taking ascorbic acid, thinking I was taking vitamin C! It's only recently that I've become aware that vitamin C is actually a complex vitamin, consisting of several components. The ascorbic acid I was taking is only a part of the vitamin and on its own may actually do more physiological harm than good over time. This product is certainly more expensive than ascorbic acid, but ascorbic acid alone is most definitely not vitamin C. Even though clever marketing implies that it is. In the main it is a chemical manufactured in laboratories, usually in China. This product, according to the research I've done, is far superior, being natural vitamin C. The flavour of this particular product is almost neutral, allowing it to be taken in almost anything, including water, which is how I take it. It also mixes well and is readily absorbed. Ascorbic acid, when mixed with water is very bitter. Be careful when you buy "Vitamin C" it will often state on the packaging "As ascorbic acid". The price can also be a general guide (but not solely) as the natural vitamin C complex is around twice the price or more - but real!

Good product. One small thing is do not pour this product into a sealed glass jar as it will go rock hard. Keep it in the original package.

Well packaged and a lot for the money considering you only need a very small amount (half teaspoon) to get a good dose of Vit C. I think it will last me about two years! That said, there is no way I can actually check the Vit C content claimed, so not sure if this is better than tablets as I will always have some doubt.

Felt compelled to leave a review after consistently outstanding customer service from Spring blossom superfoods. Have bought from this company several times now, acerola is always fresh, great quality and delivered super quick. Easily dissolves in water and the taste is actually quite nice, not overbearing. Resealable pouch is handy and keeps the powder fresh - but you must remember to seal it properly otherwise it’ll clump (it happened to me once so I learned my lesson). I usually take it with just plain water but if feeling adventurous it goes really well with cereal, yogurt and smoothies like in my video. It’s been massively helpful with my energy levels, and my skin and hair have never felt better - so I don’t go a day without it. 300g pack lasts a while and it’s really good value. 10/10 would recommend.

We are very happy with this product. The taste is nice and pleasant (sour) not like other brands (bitter) At the beginning we were mixing it with the juice but after getting used to it, don’t mind it in just mixed with plain water. It’s great for the skin if you used in bigger amounts. Great source of antioxidants. We also used bigger amounts when we were ill too. Will buy again once in stock!

we had good quality supplied early last year. this time it arrived in 3 days rather than 1 day meant to be for prime members. on top of that powder does not have same effect that previous supplies had last year. there is low vit c content in the one we got this time. it's not what we wanted to purchase.
