I'm a 51yo who feels genuinely ill and dry reaches every single day when I brush my teeth with the usual mint toothpastes ( I have tried all major adult brands and indie products as well). I thought I would give something like this a try and I am elated. It has a grit to it that helps polish, and the taste is SO benign that after I brushed and simply did one quick rinse, I felt I could eat and drink immediately if I wanted to. Zero lingering nasty taste of *any* kind. So good to see it doesn't have most of the nasty chemicals in it either. However, the lack of said chemicals means you need to use more, as it doesn't lather well with the usual amount, but this is not even remotely a problematic trade off for me and not something I'd mark it down for. The key is this. Put a small pea amount on your toothbrush and lightly brush all over your mouth, then apply a second slightly larger amount to the toothbrush and brush properly. This will get the adequate lather. Honestly, this feels safe to swallow (I still rinse, but I am saying you can just taste the LACK of chemicals - or not taste them? Either or hehe). Now I just have to find an equivalent mild mouthwash. Sticking to this one, that's for sure.

My 5 year old daughter is VERY particular about her toothpaste. As in she would flat out refuse to brush her teeth if she didn't like the toothpaste. She goes back and forth between liking different flavors and currently she likes bubblegum. Out of all the bubblegum flavored ones out there, I chose this claimed to have a sparkle, which I thought she would enjoy. She just lost her first tooth, which she is very excited about and I thought a new tooth cleansing related gift would be a good way to inspire continued proper dental hygiene. She just got a new toothbrush, so that was out, so toothpaste it was. She loves rainbows so immediately she liked the box, and insisted on opening and applying the toothpaste herself. I took a moment to show her the shimmer, which she liked. I wasn't quite sure what to expect with that, when they say, "Unicorn Sparkle," I guess I imagined more of an iridescent mother of pearl type of look to it, but it's really just more opaque with a sparkle that really stand outs most when held to the light. Not that serious, just an observation. As to brushing. My daughter loves the taste. It works up a great lather. I did a "breath check" once she was done and her breath was fresh, her teeth looked looked shiny and white, I felt them, and there was no grime or sticky feel, telling me the paste was clean rinsing. I have one of those electric brushes for her that has an LED light to see shine in her mouth to see builup, cavities etc. After using this for a few days, I used it, and there was no build up anywhere. So clearly, this toothpaste is doing it job. We will be buying this from now on, and I highly recommend you do too for your little ones!

Doesn't taste like bubblegum mixed with mint. Is glittery paste but doesn't leave glitter in the mouth it's just fun. The package has a colouring page on the inside which is really cool. Went down great with the kids. My only gripe - It's a bit expensive for toothpaste. But still worth it for a kid who absolutely hates mint.

Does your mouth burn when you use adult toothpaste too? I whined to my dentist about it and she said to use the kids stuff. As long as you're brushing your teeth it really doesn't matter. This toothpaste cleans well, leaves my mouth feeling clean, my teeth smooth, and it tastes great with no burn! It does cost more than some other toothpastes, but I think it's worth it. It's quite effective. I love this stuff and I'll be buying it again. Bubblegum flavor for the win!

This is my daughters favorite toothpaste! She tells me it tastes like "yummy bubble gum" and she loves how it sparkles. We will be continuing to get this!
