279847 Anti-Skid Additive, 3.4 oz

Works well. I added one pack to about 1.5 quarts of a 2-part epoxy based paint, stirred well and rolled it onto the floor of my boat with a short-nap roller. Looks good, no noticeable color change in the off-white. Definitely skid proof. The label says "Mix one package per gallon of paint." I think that might be a little thin. One pack in the quart and a half was more than enough, probably would have been good for at least 2 quarts, but I'm afraid a gallon would be pushing it. Guess it depends on how "non-skid" you want it. On a wet boat deck, better safe than sorry, but a pack per gallon might do fine for a house porch.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This stuff was great. I added it to one gallon of exterior latex acrylic paint and painted my porch. Now my porch is non-slip but still semi-gloss!

I purchased this product to add to the paint I am using on my front porch. It worked great and I now have a non skid surface on my porch. I am pleased with the product.

Used on ramp to front door and don’t have to worry about slipping. Mixed some in paint and sprinkled rest on top of wet paint.

Works as it says. We mixed it with the epoxy and mixed it well. It works and holding for now.

It adds just enough texture to make it not slippery.

Very good product

Sloped steps in northern climate; and want to avoid insurance claim. Combined with the Kilz porch paint, the suspension was perfect, and the hard particles preserve the paint surface "gluing" them down (unlike soft particles that can roll off).
