Strange to have a favorite bobby pin, right? I do, and it's this one. My lovely locks are long and rather unruly. My curls tend to frizz within a few hours of blow drying. Not being one to wash it everyday, as I prefer it to stay healthy, I wear it up most days. My favorite updos are rather elaborate braided affairs that require several bobby pins. These bobby pins are just the things to hold it in place all day long. The bend of the sturdy metal is unyielding and does not weaken with time and the hold is very secure! To ensure that the best performance, I recommend overlapping them when possible. Note that these are long bobby pins, larger than the average 1.75 inchers. I found those smaller ones did not hold onto my flowing tresses nearly as well. The worst problem with these bobby pins is me. I take them out when the day is done, wherever I am, which means that I lose them quickly. Good for Conair, bad for me.
