View cam started smoking
I hooked this battery up to my IPC-9800 Plus+ view cam and it made the device start smoking. I disconnected the battery as soon as I noticed the smoke and when I went to turn the device on with the backup, it would not turn on. This battery fried our device. I would not purchase this battery for a IPC-9800 Plus+.

My bad battery of 4 years has a longer life then this one.
Battery does not last anywhere as long as the bad battery that it is replacing. The bad one has maybe a 3 hour life if in use and might last 8 hours in stand by. The original battery lasted 8 hours talk time and 21 standby. Bought this from this seller before and the quality seems to have gone down.
