Great lighter. Ideal for pipes

As a pipe smoker for almost 50 years I wanted to share my opinion of this excellent product. It is the best lighter I have ever owne, and that includes ones costing 3 or 4 times as much. It is superbly designed and of good size and weight. It has a generous gas reservoir and solid construction. I am so pleased with it I will be buying another one as a spare. This is the perfect gift for any pipe smoker!

Standard pipe tools which work as required. Feels a tad flimsy, yet so far no issue with months of regular use. I admit I bash it about a bit and it’s surviving the onslaught currently. I tend to tap the pipe out using the lighter. The lighter has a strong slide button which I can’t judge how hard it is to use as my hands are weak so to me it feels difficult to use on occasions due to my limitations. The flame is pretty decent, around 2 cm long blow. gets through the gas quite quickly so needs topping up frequently. Which of course is efficient and straightforwardly nonissues thing to do. My only meh is it feels cheaply made but is surprisingly sturdy and efficient

Looks good, feels good, and tools useful. Generally a good product apart from the size of the fuel tank. As a pipe smoker, you may need to carry a can of butane in another pocket to get full value. Fortunately Amazon has a great policy on not 'fit for purpose' items, so returning.

No replacement screws supplied, that would help. Nice solid build otherwise; sliding button is sturdy, and fuel adjuster works, and has a good weight to it. Tools are sturdy and ideal for use.

I was pleased with the lighter for a short time. Then all hell broke lose! It's nice flame would suddenly burst out into a torch. I nearly set myself on fire! I was shocked...I checked to see if I had set the flame too high but that wasn't the problem. From a normal flame it suddenly turns into a hissing big torch!!! Very scary and very very dangerous!!! DON’T BUY! I RETURNED MINE AND AM WAITING FOR A REFUND. They don't even deserve the one star!

Je suis très satisfait d'avoir acquis ce briquet spécialement conçu pour enflammer le tabac dans des pipes. Il est hautement qualitatif, robuste, élégant, stylé, et nanti de trois petits accessoires indispensables (tasse-braise, cuillère et aiguille). Libérée latéralement, sa flamme est douce, jamais agressive pour un allumage délicat, précis, et respectueux des nobles bouffardes.

Es de buena calidad, todo metálico y con perfecto acabado. El tacto en general es excelente. El botón deslizante de encendido es suave y no tiene holgura. Enciende a la primera siempre (espera a que el gas introducido se enfie). De aspecto es aún más elegante que en la foto, un pelín más pequeño. La capa exterior es de buena calidad y no se pone negro. Veinte pavos bien gastados. Se lo he regalado a mi viejo para la pipa, pero también vale para tabaco y porros de apaleado y polen ;)

Gut verarbeitet, Material liegt gut in der Hand, Farbe blättert nicht ab, eingebautes Besteck wirklich sehr praktisch - man kann es nicht vergessen oder verlegen. Am Besten gefällt mir die ergonomische Bedienung: wenn man die Pfeife anzünden will, muss man die Finger nicht "verbiegen", um das Feuerzeug zu starten. Das der Gastank nur ca. 5 Pfeifen lang hält, kann ich nicht bestätigen. Natürlich ist es kein Corona Old Boy, Form und Funktion sind sehr unterschiedlich - aber eben auch der Preis, und hier ist es dem Old Boy haushoch überlegen. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, klare Kaufempfehlung!
