Husband bought this for me and I absolutely love it. Very bright vibrant lights that will brighten a room at night. Speaker is loud with good quality sound. Magnet is a little tricky but manageable.

The sound quality is good. This stereo is fun. My baby loves it very, very, very much. It makes me very happy. The sound suspension is beautiful, the music playing is great, and the sound quality is great. The first time I opened it and tried to put it on and levitate it took me a long time. But it's fun. It's not very big, so you can move it around. Put it where you want it. It feels plastic, but it has some texture. It's a nice little stereo, and my friends say it's cool

Easy setup. Works as advertised

DON’T DO IT!! It’s a piece of junk. Several of us tried to make the thing levitate and no one could get it to. I bought it in October for a Christmas gift so by the time my son opened it, the return window had expired. I emailed the company and got no response. I’m out almost $100. I typically don’t allow a couple of bad reviews to sway my decision to purchase, but please heed my warning on this one. I WISH I would have listened to the bad reviews and not purchased this item.

Bought as conversation piece. Audio is good for a low end MP3 speaker. The levitation is the big attraction. Any science buff would love this device. A word of caution: Letting the very strong magnets in both pieces slam parts together too hard could cause damage. Setting up requires a good grip and extra care to avoid parts slamming together too hard, plus a bit of patience while finding the levitation hotspot. It's worth the effort. My 14 year old great grandson mastered the levitation after several tries. He absolutely loves it! I thought I had the UFO speaker levitating with the power off but the power switch on the base only controls the lights. The other electronics for the levitating apparently is energized as long as its plugged in. If it's unplugged, the UFO will crash. A very entertaining device.

Looks cool when it works, when it works being the problem. Getting the saucer to sit on the base is a bit of a trick, kind of like balancing an steel egg on end, on the end of a needle, with a powerful magnet an inch away. It's been two weeks and I have yet to figure out how to do it reliably, I have a short temper and fear for the safety of the saucer. I have mounted it successfully several times, but it is very difficult and frustrating, impossible if any steel is nearby. The difficulty would be less of an issue if it was required less often. The saucer needs to be recharged every six hours, when not charged it will float but no lights and no speaker. Worse still none of the controls or recharging can be done without removing the saucer. They should have done inductive charging, would have solved all these problems, they made other models with it so I know they can do it. Had they just put some color on the saucer it would have helped so I could see it rotating.

The sound quality wasn't as good as I might have hoped, considering the price, however it really is quite impressive to look at. Oh, and if you order for the UK, you'll probably need a plug adaptor for the base lead.
