This fit my 2022 Ford F250 perfectly. It looks identical to the factory one, which had scratches and dings on it. Remove the two plastic clips, and pull the old one off, easy, it took longer to find the tool than to actually replace the cap cover. The quality appears to be exactly the same as the OEM one which cost 10x more. I'm very happy with it.

Is very fragile because when they delivered 2 little pieces were broken and when i try to installed another 2 broke down so is no a durable one!!

As other reviewers have noted, the fitment is sub-par. But, the value for the money is still there. Installation is simple. Whomever set this up for manufacturing however, must have just eyeballed it! It isnt even close to original fitment. It will not sit flush and the holes simply arent close to aligning. Worth the cheap price - but just barely.

Very good product. Only isssue is - wish some basic directions were included. Easy to figure out.

Fit perfect

Put it side by side and looks identical. Included new step pads for the outboard edges, but mine still looked ok so did not install those. I reinforced the leading edge with 3M foam double stick trim tape to hopefully be the last time I need to mess with it. I also sprayed the button release with Blaster Dry Lube to ease the operation of the part.

cost is good, fit is fair and the clips break extremely easy.

Yes, it is compatible. Yes, it is similar to the Ford item. It initially clipped in, but not very securely. I’ve spent months whacking it back down every time I’ve used the tailgate. All but one of the plastic clips have broken off. I tried double side tape but doesn’t hold. I’ll be ordering a different replacement. The Ford design isn’t great, it all depends on plastic clips. This all requires better quality plastic.

The replacement tailgate top moulding arrived earlier then expected. It was ease to install and fit well. I sprayed some WD 40 into the release button mechanism in the tailgate assembly which allowed the button to move freely. It looks and works just fine. Let’s see if any issues develop in the days, weeks, months to come. So far, I would buy it again.

Seems to be made of an inferior plastic - insertion tabs began to break within 6 months of installation on truck, all were broken within the following month, so had to remove (only the two push-rivets left to hold it loosely in position). My truck is used for personal / recreation purposes, so it does not take a beating - this product definitely did not meet expectations.

Product arrived quickly and fit very well. Good quality replacement part for a reasonable cost.

plastic is softer than original, tabs are weak and don't properly hold the tailgate cap in place.
