Canada Dry Ginger Ale Soda, 12 fl oz cans, 12 pack

I send these to my friend. They were a real value, but in the last two weeks or so they went up.

The product is fine. I actually enjoy it very much. The packaging from Amazon is hideous. They feel the need to put two cases of soda in one box and think that that’s OK. Like it’s not going to get handled roughly or dropped. This is the third time that I’ve had damaged goods. Common sense would dictate you don’t put that much weight into one flimsy box. Come on Amazon this is ridiculous.

Honestly, for a ginger ale with the word dry in its name, this could be drier. I think it's quite a bit too sweet. I think they could drop the calories down to 100 or even lower without adding any artificial sweeteners and it'd be better. Fever tree (albeit a whole different category of ginger ale) does that and it's great. I don't know why these soda companies are so married to the extremes of no sugar ("diet" or flavored seltzer) or too much sugar but it'd be nice to have something right in the middle, a true dry ginger ale. Polar makes a good one. I don't remember Canada Dry always being this sweet, I liked it better back in the day. Could use more fizz, too. Make it really crisp and dry. It's just ok, I guess. Might be better if you water it down with some seltzer. It's a good value I suppose, but I feel like we shouldn't have to pay $2.50-$5 a bottle for decent craft soda when the big boys could just make it better with less sugar and still charge a reasonable price. Oh well. At least it does help my tummy when it's upset.

This is my most favorite soda, great taste that isn't overly sweet, great carbonation (never had a flat can) and good price.
