Work great
These work great to protect my fingertips from glass shards while cutting glass and protect them from heat while soldering lead came around the borders of my stained glass projects. They are durable and stay in place well.

Comfortable, versatile, effective
A knife sharpening hobby can take its toll of fingers. My style brings my fingers into light contact with coarse whetstones, repetitively, abrading the skin. These finger guards are perfect and are surprisingly comfortable, kind of stretchy fabric, very easy to forget you have them on. Easy to put on, not hard to get off like rubber gloves are. I know from earlier experience with cut-proof gloves that the fabric is very effective in preventing accidental cuts. Probably washable, too.

Been using daily for around 4 years
I have nerve damage in one of my fingers (from a partial fingertip amputation) to where it hurts when my finger bumps, and some days even just brushes against something. These help give some shock absorption and protection. Some days I get random sharp pains in my finger and the slight compression from wearing these help with that too. Kind of like when you stub your toe or something and you instinctively grab and squeeze it. Something about compression just helps. I buy about 100 of them at a time, which last suuuuper long because they can be reused so many times and don't easily fall apart. Theyre very sturdy! I'm always afraid they'll stop making them so I want to have a stockpile to last me a while until I'm forced to find a different kind. I'll need them for the rest of my life, and I highly doubt theyll be selling them for the rest of my life lol. But I've tried just about every finger cot out there over the last 4 years, and these are my favorite by far. I like that they're not rubbery because the rubber/silicone/latex ones I've tried are awful. They make my finger sweat and it's super uncomfortable. My ring size is 7 if that helps anyone judge how they'll fit you. They stretch, but not a whole lot. They stay on well, but if I had one complaint, I wish they were a little tighter. They loosen up the longer you wear it. Especially when reused for multiple days. To wash them, I usually shove them in a pants pocket and throw them in the washer and dryer. But honestly I have so many laying around (and my cats love to play with them, so they help scatter them all over lol) that a lot of times they will end up in the washer and dryer by themselves and not shoved in a pocket. They always come out of the dryer just like when they were new. They aren't stretched out anymore. It takes quite a few washes before they start to fray. I see multiple people in the reviews that hand wash and air dry them. I wish I could let them know that there's an easier way, and the dryer actually helps tighten them back up. When the fraying does eventually start (after probably 5-6 times in the washer and dryer, with multiple daily uses after each wash), its at the opening on the solid black threads. But even then, I'll just trim off the one long loose string and get a few more days out of it. I also like the pattern/color because it hides a lot of dirt. I just bought another 8 of the 12 packs so I'll be set for quite a while, and hopefully they're still being sold when I'm out cause I don't know what I'll do.

Well Made But Not Very Effective
These finger cots are well made and of good quality, but they will not stay on my fingers and slide everywhere. I use them for crocheting. If I can get them to stay put they help a lot, but I find I spend a lot of time adjusting them, so they're a little difficult to use. I tend to have bigger hands than most, so people with smaller hands may struggle even more. I'm not sure what the purpose of the different colors are. While they are supposed to be "cut-proof," they don't protect from needle sticks, though I'm not sure I was expecting them to. They are completely unbreathable, so my fingers will sweat if I wear them for very long.

Comfortable finger protection
Need long-term coverage/protection for major degloving of thumb by kitchen mandolin. I have tiny female hands (size 5 ring) and each in package fit and stay on thumb. After a few uses they get a bit longer, but still do what I need. Healing will be long term and these are most comfortable of everything else I've tried. Several negative reviews stated they were useless and got cut easily, but I find that if anything tries cutting me (like closing aluminum covers on disposable pans) these will catch the corners that normally would cut me. I work in a commercial kitchen and can easily slide into any glove.

They do not stay on
I have a partial amputation on my index finger and tried these to add some protection to the amputated end. They do not stay on my finger very well at all :(. Given that my finger is thicker from the "top" down (I lost up to the first knuckle) I expected these to fit very snug which they do, but even with that they slip off very easily. Additionally they are quite rough on the inside. If I use them on an uninjured finger they don't fit at all, way too big and I don't have small hands. They need some kind of "grip" on the inside like those non-slip socks for toddlers. No clue if they prevent cuts etc. because I didn't trust them enough to experiment. They might protect a knife slice but would be useless for puncture type wounds from thorns for example.
