I've had a few other products, like Nanoleaf, and I can honestly say that Twinkly consistently blows me away. The quality is always great, but the app is where Twinkly's products REALLY shine, and is second to none, with crazy functionality. The ability to map the LED locations in a 3D space allows for a heretofore unheard of level of customizability that I cannot recommend enough. If you're looking for a customizable LED strip (ESPECIALLY if you're doing anything with smart home tech like Home Assistant, as I do), these are the best I've found so far!

Purchased two sets, one works great but one of them was instantly defective, only the red color displays, (and barely, most of the strip is totally dead). Sometimes the colors might flicker on for a few seconds before the whole strip goes back to red or dead. Have tried to reset and do all the trouble shooting but the strip is defective.

I like the lights Brightness but setting it up was a pain in the *** and the software has limited amount of choices, but it work great with google and it was easy to set it up to google. The mounting thing wasn’t that bad and you can not tell it is mounted.

Bought these as a replacement to our last set of flex lights that lasted about three years of constant use. What is easy to install being that I just unclipped the old set from the wall. Place the new lights in the existing clips. Love, the fact that you can control them from your phone great for accent lighting.

These are very nice when they work and the included mounting hardware (despite it's poor design) means you can customize the light very specifically to your use case. Main problem is that they are prone to full failure at the power source. I have had 3 out of 5 fail this way, and 1 other had an issue within the light strip that caused flashing. They are too expensive to be built this poorly IMO.

When we tiled the kitchen we left a groove for a light strip. The first one we got became dim pretty quickly after it was installed so I was elated when I saw that Twinkly came out with one. My husband installed it using the clips which work much better than the adhesive stuff and it stays in place. When he initially installed it, he started in the middle of the wall (weird, I know). It caused it to go beyond the cabinets in the area that didn't have a groove for the lights. He tried using the adhesive to stick them to the tiles above the stove. It didn't work very well and they kept falling down. He took them all down and started them at the end of the one cabinet and they then fit in the groove all the way around using the clips. The lights are great and like other Twinkly you can pick designs.

A part from the high price tag. I love this light, it's got lots of Preset to choose from, which are not bad at all. Set the stage with a unique design that will look great round items on the wall or basically make a shape, love sign, or S shape sign. Be creative to suit your moods & needs. Bright vivid colours which can be changed as well as the speed. Dimming is low so, no need to wear your sunglasses indoors. & finally the price.£,$,€. Quality over quantity comes to mind with the flex. Build well & looks neat. Two way connectivity makes this item unique, local connection or broadly connected allows the app to be used anywhere or be basic & just use the button control to flip through the pre-sets. What not to like did I hear you say. Well music sync not out of the box. Additionally device is needed costs around 25 Bucks. It's definitely a go get It.

I've had two for my room and both have had to be replaced twice each. They don't last longer than two months without burning out.
