I absolutely love this teapot. The colors are vibrant and gorgeous...AND...it works like a teapot should! Forty ounces is VERY large for a ceramic teapot, and I have been looking for one this size. The way I use it: Once the kettle starts boiling, I fill the teapot with hot water and dump it out. Then I add tea leaves and or bags and pour in boiling water. According to the tea I'm using, I let it steep for 3 to 10 minutes. Pour into a cup and enjoy 4 large mugs of tea in the evening, especially, but I use it all the time now when I want more than one cup of tea. Did I say I loved this teapot?

Beautiful design with a bold color palette, perfect for adding flair to a room. A solid piece that feels quality made. Lid fits on snugly. I have not used for tea, just as a decoration.

This is a really nice looking teapot to keep out on the counter. It's a good size and have been using when I want a different type of tea from other people in my house.

When my 50 year old teapot cracked, I decided to replace it with something more modern and colorful. This fit the bill perfectly. My only complaint is that the opening isn't as wide and makes it a bit more difficult to get the tea bags out of. Love seeing it on my kitchen counter as it brightens up the day.

I absolutely LOVE it!! The colors are so vibrant. It's the perfect size. Very well made. Pours beautifully. I used 2 large Japanese green tea bags and filled it up. Made a perfect cup of tea.
