I hate to see wires crammed into connections when i open up a piece of equipment, I use ferrules on all of my connections and quickly add ferrules it the equipment was build without them. This is an ok kit with a nice selection of sizes. Works well with my ferrule tool and with the correct tool attaches firmly.

Right parts for the right job.

These ferrules work well in my crimpers and the only complaint I would have is they need to fix the description to match the ACTUAL AWG of the colors and/or mark them in the container so we know. As is stands now the AWG description has EVERY COLOR wrong except black.... hell there are two greens written there yet only one green in the kit. I went ahead and took a picture of mine with the AWG written in there for anyone wanting to know. I honestly don't expect the description to be updated as I noticed someone asked the same question and the seller replied with a copy/paste of the WRONG color/AWG description so apparently they don't realize it's wrong yet people keep asking about it. Either way you are still getting the correct AWG and amount of ferrules... just don't listen to what they say the colors are in the description because they are wrong.

I love having every size I need in one place, and the quality seems to be excellent. I wish I had learned about ferrules years ago as they really provide a professional way to finish wires that otherwise might be damaged. I know sounds obvious, but these haven't become status quo in all industries yet. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Nice wire ferrule kit. One issue is the plastic storage compartments do not list the AWG sizes; the description currently listed on Amazon does list a sizing chart, but the color Green is listed two times. I'm also not that comfortable going by color, since they could potentially change from one kit to another. Looks like E1008 = 18g, E7508 = 20g, E0506 = 24g, E0508 = 22g.

Really great for tidying up stranded wire ends and can be a quasi connector too. I've really become a fan of ferrules but I wish they were made a bit longer. They could be made a bit thicker as well. it'll last if you don't fiddle with it too much.
