ASUS Vivobook 15.6 Full HD Intel Gen 10 Core i7-1065G7 8GB RAM 1TB HDD + 256GB SSD Win 10 Laptop

Got this laptop to replace a Lenovo that moved soooooooo sllloooowwwww..... I had got to where I hated it! I quit using it, a perfectly good computer, because I never had the time and/or patience to wait for it to boot up, or wake up, or pull up a new tab. I wasn't familiar with the ASUS brand, but they had gotten one at our place of worship for ZOOM meetings. I really liked the way it worked. It worked like a champ as soon as it came out of the box!! So fast! So accurate! Connects faultlessly to Smart TV's and able to stream quite well. Love the backlit keys-So helpful as I can't sleep at night due to medical issues. This option keeps me from having to turn on lights, so the family is happy! The only issue I have is that the speakers are low. Very hard to hear people on Zoom meetings. I solved that issue by purchasing a small, affordable USB speaker from Amazon - brand name ABRRU - "Dual 5W Single USB Computer Speakers, PC Speakers for Desktop, Laptop Speakers with Crystal Clear Sound, Loud Volume, Volume Control and Mute Button(USB-C to USB Adapter Included)". It works great! Great sound and I can use the USB-C to connect and it leaves all my USB slots open for use. LOVE this computer!!

I can tell you from the first moment I booted up this beast of a work laptop, I knew it was going to perform exactly as I had hoped. Startup is smooth and quick, the OS is installed on the 256GB SSD. This is ideal and perfect for fast boot times and prevents Windows processes from be interfered with by foreign applications and programs that may be running. I immediately made a download folder on the 1TB HDD to make sure the SSD is dedicated to Windows to ensure a smooth experience. Pros: Fast boot (3-5 seconds because of the SSD) Windows 10 (Let’s be honest, it’s still the best) Intel Core i7 (Amazing CPU with overclock if needed) 1 TB HDD (perfect amount of xtra storage space) Light weight (maybe 2.5-3lbs)) 3x USB ports and 1x USB C port (great compatibility) ASUS (Speaks for itself… clean..slick..it’s great) Cons: The only con I found is related to the speakers on the laptop. They’re weak and do not perform well when watching a video and/or stream that has a wide “dynamic-range” of audio. If someone is speaking too loudly or at a high pitch, it sounds scratchy. When this happens I end up having to turn the master volume down on the laptop to prevent it. Besides the weak speakers, this is the perfect work laptop. I did not get this laptop to game or watch videos or stream. I got it for performance and it absolutely, if not excelled, my expectations. 5 out of 5

I bought this ASUS Vivobook in 2022 after my nephew recommended it to me. I don't use it every day, but I like that it's lightweight and easy for my daughters to carry, as they also use it for homework. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the sound quality and the battery drains quickly compared to other laptops I've owned. Overall, it's been a good laptop for our needs.

I thought this was an excellent value for a fast processor and lots of memory. I really like the backlit keyboard and the touchscreen. So far the computer is working great. I am using it mainly for word-processing work. Really nice keyboard in a nice slim chassis. Note that although this should be pretty easily portable, the battery life is not awesome (5-6 hours). For my use this doesn't matter, but for portability, I have a delightful 11-inch ASUS that gets 10-11 hours of battery life. This one is probably best for home use.

Love this computer did my masters work with it.

Like it just its not installed with licensed office. So i have to find new one and install them. Small issue

Seems to work fine but the power appears a bit cheap.

Está buenísima, es touch, cosa que fue una sorpresa para mí, es rapidísima, no sabía que necesitaba cambiar mi laptop hasta que probé ésta. Súper recomendable

Como siempre, un gran producto de Asus. No se calienta, es muy rápida y muy ligera. Quizá su único punto débil es el sonido (podría ser más potente), pero no es una gran debilidad.

No hubo notificación sobre cuando se envió, sin embargo llegó en el plazo indicado. A pesar de verse en buen estado, al encender el equipo, la pantalla se veía obscura. Al conectar el equipo con un cable HDMI pude comprobar que en general funcionaba excepto por la pantalla. Tuve que devolverlo (actualmente en proceso)

En general es buena pero me sigue molestando demasiado el malisimo mousepad que tiene. Tienes que aplanar demasiado para que se mueva el puntero. En ratos ni así. En la laptop que tenía antes era como deslizar te sobre mantequilla, incluso a veces ni siquiera llegaba a tocar el pad, era genial. El de la ASUS me estresa demasiado y voy a tener que comprar un mouse, cosa que yo no quería porque al final es estorboso e impractico. Pará el precio esperaría un mejor mousepad la verdad.
