This is, without a doubt, my absolute favorite children's book (toddler-age) on the market. I have sent this to so many families and our personal copy is falling apart with love. The stories are told so well, and so easily understandable. My daughter used to have so much of this Bible memorized at age 1.5 and would literally finish my sentences when I would read. The updated graphics with more skin tones, make me so happy, and I utterly love this Bible. I use it anytime I teach the toddler ages in Bible class and plan to continue. I suggest it for anyone that asks which Bible to get for toddlers. Absolutely wonderful for teaching a foundation of faith <3

Love this beginner's Bible for children. It is so fun with great pictures and illustrations. It makes the kids want to read it. So many pages of awesomeness. Very easy to read, and if too little to read, a great introduction by just looking at the pages and listening. You will be thrilled when you hear them repeating the stories. A great value for the money and a great quality book. The perfect size for holding to read.

Excellent Children's Story Bible and Highly Recommended! This is one of the most amazing children's Story Bibles I've ever seen. Wow! Although not the Bible itself, it beautifully retells Scripture in a kid-friendly way, removing some of the more intense “R-rated” details that can sometimes disturb younger readers (and adults). Each story includes the book, chapter, and verse reference, which my son uses to look up the full account in the Bible — see image for how he found the story of David and Goliath. With over 500 pages and wonderful illustrations, this clearly represents someone’s labor of love — and it shows. Very well done. I think this would make a fantastic Bible-story resource for children’s church, especially for ages 10 and under. Sidebar: I don’t know what we used 50 years ago to tell Bible stories in Sunday School, but I never realized how bloody and brutal the Crucifixion was until seeing The Passion of the Christ (which I only watched once). “See how very much our Father loves us…” (1 John 3:1 NLT) Highly recommended!

I’ve been looking for something just like this for my kids, and I’m super impressed. The pictures are bright, colorful, and really eye-catching, which immediately draws their attention. The stories are concise, easy to read, and perfectly written to keep my kids engaged without overwhelming them. My kids are 7 and 9, and the content is spot on for both ages, making it great for reading together or independently. The overall quality of the book is fantastic it feels sturdy, heavy, and built to last, even with repeated use. I’m very impressed and feel like this is a book we’ll be coming back to again and again. One thing I will mention is although the book is easy for kids to read they will need help reading names!

For as long as I can remember, I have given this "Beginner's Bible" to all new born babies that I know. My daughter had one and the pictures are very bright and beautiful. The stories capture a lot in a few pages. This is a Bible that little ones can understand. I used to read it to her each night then when she began to read she would read it to me each night. She read it all throughout her youth. She is 34 years old now and still has her "Beginner's Bible" at her home. This is the perfect Bible for small children as they learn the basics of the Bible and the love of Jesus.
