I was a little bit nervous ordering this. Some reviews said thinner than a bed sheet, some said bad stitching, some said horrible smell, some said awful colors. It was kind of like Christmas opening this up, I was so excited to see what colors I got, and maybe I just got lucky, but the universe (and Amazon) truly delivered on this. It is GORGEOUS. The hand-stitching, the colors, the glorious boho-feel. It is very light weight, about the thickness of 4 bedsheets if I had to guess. There are small areas where stitching is not quite perfect. But that’s the beauty of it! I noticed a tiny dirt stain and a faint odor, a bit like incense, so I’ll be washing on delicate before I sleep with this. For now, it’s the perfect couch blanket and I just love the vibes. Already ordered another one for my surprise bestie who is a little bit corporate and a little bit granola, just like me. I’d say take the chance if you’re on the fence! The price is so good! I would have paid quadruple for mine, I love it that much!

This is a beautiful blanket at an awesome price. I have been looking for a Kantha blanket and was so happy to find these here on Amazon. Like other buyers I was a little dicey about buying bc the mixed reviews. This is a thinner blanket/throw/beach or picnic blanket and as another reviewer mentioned, it is about as thick as 4 sheets. Perfect for warmer nights or to brighten up your bedset. The color and stitching are perfect and even though this was a random pull I’m quite pleased with what I received. On the downside, there is absolutely an odor and it is not incense or anything someone would find to be pleasant. The odor is def packaging or chemical smelling. I will wash this apart from my regular laundry in case it needs more than one wash. However, I wouldn’t deduct stars for this because we all do- or should- wash things before wearing or using. Happy customer, will be buying more of these for gifts!

I think this is beautiful! The fabric is very soft and there is no strange smell. It smells like it was just washed and dried. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. The size is perfect for a queen size bed. I used mine to add color as a coverlet. The only negative thing I can say is that I wish you could pick your colors. At least pick from a color family. You get what you get!

It’s beautiful, and I love the kantha’s. I’m an idiot and thought I was receiving 4, not just one. So, don’t be me—it’s one blanket—even tho the pic shows 4. Reading is fundamental.

My blanket showed up in great condition. The colors are cute, although not as vibrant as I was hoping for. The blanket is not very thick, about like two sheets together, as someone else said... but it is surprisingly cozy when you're under it for a while. There was a mild dye-like smell that washed out well. I washed on cold water in a delicate cycle and dried on the lowest setting and it came out perfectly and did not seem to bleed any dye onto other items. The stitching is what I expected from something hand stitched. It's not perfect like it was from a machine, but it is well done and has character. I would absolutely purchase another if I have a need for one.

It arrived today and while it did have a slight funky, scent it washed right out. It’s two pieces of fabric sewn together. I was hoping for a more patchwork design, but for the price it’s very nice. Especially considering somebody picked these pieces and put them together with their own hands! It’s very lightweight and goes well in my bedroom, but it would also make a nice tablecloth or sofa decoration.

The blanket is the perfect weight & nice colors, but it smells so BAD!! It smells like it got wet & never dried. Horrible musty/mold smell. I have washed it four times now.
