I don’t write reviews usually, but this lap timer definitely deserve a five stars. Extremely clear and easy to set up and use. The signal is stable, speed is super accurate it’s just like synchronized with my speedometer. It also have a lot of useful functions. The mobile app is very quick and easy to use, no bugs, maintained well. I just tested it on my car. My car is stock, so 0-60 mph is not fast enough, but I just bought the timer for fun. The drag result is pretty consistent after several tests, and the results are the same as the actual drag time on my stock car. So far so good. It’s a little bit pricy, but definitely worth it. I don’t think I need to look for any other brands of lap timer other than Racebox.

The timer itself is very good with accurate GPS, easy to read display, and good battery life with enough power to last several track days. No proprietary accessories is a big plus. The device uses a GoPro style mount and the magnetic charging port can be removed to reveal a USB port. The phone app needs some updates, it's kind of slow and unresponsive at times. Aside for getting telemetry and loading tracks to the timer, the app is rarely used.

I had this up and going in about 5 minutes after reading the manual which took maybe 3 minutes. I only bought this to confirm that I had a true MYP, and it was confirmed (3.49, 3.52, 0-60mph).

Unlike the first reviewer, I actually used this product before writing the review. I like that you can charge it up and use it without any cords. If you have a clear view of the sky, you can use it without the external GPS cord because it has a built-in GPS. I simply suction cupped the device to my windshield and immediately had a full 3 bars of signal which makes your distances on the device accurate to within 20 inches. I used the drag racing feature on my '91 Syclone and it worked great. It gives you 60ft times, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, MPH, and more. This is a great alternative to going to the drag strip if you have a desolate country back road to test on.

Great product, a good purchase. The battery life goes down very quickly though and you would need to have it charging constantly.
