The casing is made from 18/8 stainless steel and PP, with a clear acrylic glass level indicator and a lid made from ABS. The mills have adjustable ceramic grindes for salt or pepper, letting you choose your desired consistency - from coarse to fine.

How do you fill the mills?

To open, remove the upper part of the grinder (above the transparent level indicator window). Then fill with salt or pepper and close again.
